The coronavirus quarantine has been a different experience for everyone. For those who have not been financially impacted, have some sort of support system, and no young children, it very well could feel like a mini staycation. Being able to catch up on books that there never was time to read, binge-watching shows, and starting new exercise programs have made for an enjoyable time at home.

For others who are wondering how they are going to pay the bills, are working at home full-time while trying to help their children with distance learning, or are at home with nowhere to go with young children, this time stuck within the confines of four walls likely feels like torture. What is worse is not knowing when the new "normal" will begin so that life can regain a semblance of what it once was.

For Meghan King Edmonds, who has been working from home, (or doing her best to) with three small children, the stay at home order that was issued in March in California, feels like nothing short of a nightmare.

Meghan is currently raising her three children, Aspen, 3 and twins, Hayes and Hart, 23-months, whom she shares with her estranged husband, Jim Edmonds, from her home in California. She has had them full-time since Jim contracted the coronavirus back in March. Though they recently had a playdate this past weekend at Jim's California home, the time leading up until there was some silence in the house, was being compared to being under "house arrest" for the Real Housewives of Orange County alum.

Describing her children as being non-stop screamers in a home that has zero carpeting, has left Meghan at the end of her rope. While she loves her little ones and loves spending time with them, not having a helping hand throughout the day has taken its toll. Getting work done is near impossible and having alone time does not exist.

Meghan has done her best to try to remain grateful for what she has. She has a beautiful home in Los Angeles, healthy children, and has remained healthy herself, but having a full-time job on top of raising three children ages three and under with no support system has been incredibly daunting.

This past weekend was the first time that Meghan had any sort of time alone. How long that time was is unclear. Hopefully, though, it was enough time to clear her head, enjoy some silence and rid herself of any frustrated feelings she may have been having so that a calmer home was the result when the children returned.
