How One Mom Lost Her Baby Weight With Fifteen-Minute Midnight Workouts

One mom lost the baby weight with 15-minute workouts she did at midnight because it was the only time that fit into her busy schedule.

It has been three months since Gold Coast fitness trainer Emily Skye gave birth to her daughter, however she already has her rocking body back. According to Daily Mail, Skye is sharing how eating healthy, hard work, and midnight workouts, after baby Mia fell asleep, are what helped her achieve her goal.

#3monthspostpartum . I had a dinner/business meeting tonight and I decided to wear this jumpsuit that I got just before I found out I was pregnant with Mia! I’m surprised it fits me which is a good indication that I’m making progress from doing my FIT Program! 😃 Ironically I’m actually more surprised my shoes fit! My feet had grown at least a whole size while I was pregnant and I thought they’d stay that way forever and NONE of my shoes would ever fit again. 😩🙈 Well my feet are back to normal size now so I’m cheering! 🙌🏼😃 . Anyway, I wanted to talk about having career goals as a parent. I have my own business and wasn’t able to have much time off to have Mia. I had about a week off then was back into it. One of the great things about having my own business is being able to work anywhere in the world. The not so great thing is it’s really hard to take time off. When I returned to work I had a few comments from people saying things like “you’re a mother now, forget about your work” and stop being selfish and just focus on looking after your daughter”. I don’t believe being a parent with a career makes you selfish at all! You can still do that - albeit it may be more challenging especially when you have multiple children - but it’s definitely possible! I love what I do, I am so blessed to be living my dreams but I also do what I do FOR my family and my daughter Mia always comes first. I am very grateful that I get to be with her 95% of the time and I even get to take her on business trips with me nationally and internationally. As I’ve said before, I still have more goals I want to achieve and I won’t give up on them until I achieve them. Mia is my priority but I know that in order for me to be the best mum to her it’s important I’m happy and continue chasing my dreams. Don’t believe that you can’t parent and achieve your goals as well - that’s a lie! You’ve gotta believe in yourself and do what makes you happy in life. Your life is not over once you become a parent. Yes it’s more complicated but WAY more fun right? ...... RIGHT? 😂😝 . . ✨ Trial my new FIT Program for FREE for 7 days - Link in my profile or go to: www.emilyskye.com ✨ . .

“Some people might think my progress is due to my genetics or because of breastfeeding but I can tell you it's got a LOT to do with hard work and consistency. All those midnight workouts I did after Mia fell asleep and eating healthy meals from my FIT Program are getting me great results. I knew it wasn't going to be easy and I'd have to work for it so that's what I'm doing. I'm very proud of what I've done so far! I'm getting stronger and leaner every day and I’m in a good mood most of the time hehe (bonus)!’ she shared in an Instagram post.

Although Skye is proud of her accomplishment, she has also revealed because of her fitness goals she has been the subject of a lot of online bullying. In fact, she has been mommy shamed for focusing on fitness and accused of not putting her daughter’s needs first.

"Some people misunderstand my reasons for living a fit and active lifestyle and think it's "selfish" because I'm now a mum. Being fit, strong and healthy is important to me mainly because of how it makes me feel. And if I feel good I'm happy, and I'm a much better mum to my daughter Mia and a better partner to my man Dec and so on,” Skye explained.

Emily Skye is proving that hard work, eating healthy and dedication are what it takes to achieve fitness goals. It is not all about genetics and breastfeeding but rather putting in the time and effort. Even if you only have 15 minutes a day, as long as you schedule to time to workout you will see results.
