Pampers brand ambassadors Chrissy Teigen and Shay Mitchell agree that they don’t have to read or attend a class about parenting but they would rather use an intuitive parenting style. There isn’t a standard or one size fits all parenting style. Everyone has his or her parenting skills that fit their unique children. Modern parents are no longer practicing helicopter parenting but instead prefer intuitive parenting, which is a flexible approach.

Speaking to Alexandra Sacks, a psychiatrist, during a discussion, Chrissy and Shay seem to share the same ideas regarding parenting. Chrissy said that she has never read any book on parenting because she would have expectations about how things should be done. The mom of two, who is also a TV personality, says that whenever she experiences some hurdles in parenting and she has no idea of how to tackle it, she lets nature take its course.

According to refinery29.com, Chrissy regretted attending a birthing class. When she saw an actual birth, she told herself that she was going to do what she felt was right for her and if she needed any clarification then she would ask people who have experience. The host of the discussion Alexandra Sacks said during the discussion that intuitive parenting refers to parenting with a flexible mindset. Dr. Stephen Camarata explains in his book “Intuitive Parenting” that every kid has a unique learning ability and personality, therefore, we can never have a single parenting style.

Camarata argues that parents need to use flexible techniques that suit them and their children. Parenting is a lifetime learning process and having a flexible mindset will help parents in obtaining knowledge that they require to stop being nervous and enjoy having their kids around. He adds that children will naturally express what they have knowledge of and what they require. Therefore, parents should take notice or observe and respond to these signals that children give them.

Chrissy and Shay seem to agree with Camarata about observing and responding to the signals that kids give. Shay explained that parenting and motherhood journey differs from one person to another. The two Pampers brand ambassadors also urge parents to support one another. Shay says that sharing her parenting experience can help someone who is going through the same predicament. She added that parenting has its highs and lows and sometimes you feel like talking to someone and other times you feel like spending some time alone.
