Talk of Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez adopting a child from Puerto Rico is all over the internet, but let’s find out how much of it is true.

The couple has four kids (two each) with their ex-partners, and reports say Jennifer wants to have a child with Alex Rodriguez. The report says, "Jen wants them to have a child of their own and doesn't like leaving things to chance. She's aware that at her age [49] it could take years of IVF. She feels like they're in a position to help a child in need and wants to adopt from Puerto Rico, where she has a family."

J-Lo has always wanted the people of Puerto Rico to know that they are not alone, and she still stands by them during their time of need. In 2017, through her live concert, “One Voice: Somos Live!” with both current and ex-lovers, Alex Rodriguez and Marc Anthony, she raised $35 million for the people of the place which holds her roots.

On the night of the concert, she declared, “Tonight, we are all here as one voice, to declare loudly and clearly in English and Spanish to every man woman and child in Puerto Rico and beyond that, you are not forgotten, you are not alone. We are all here to help, not just because you are Americans but also because you are family, familia.”

But, how much of the news that claims the couple plans on adopting a child from the island is accurate? An insider from Gossip Cop has checked with sources close to the singer and debunks the news as untrue - the couple has no plans of adoption in this year.

In an interview with KTU last month Jennifer said of her marriage plans, "We haven't started planning yet, you know, we just got engaged, and then right afterwards we started working right away, and we're working the rest of the year, so I don't know, I don't know what's going to happen. We haven't decided if we're going to squeeze it in somewhere of we're going to wait, so you know..." J-Lo continues, "I really don't know yet, It's easy, I'm not lying right now."

With her upcoming plans, she is going to be busy and travelling for her It’s My Party concert tour, and the question of adopting a child seems to be utterly baseless.

Gossip Co had already dismissed an earlier report in January, which claimed the singer was dumping Rodriguez for her ex, Ben. On the contrary, they got engaged in March, but with their hectic schedule, marriage is yet to be planned.

While Gossip Co has smashed the false news of NW on the adoption plan of the celeb couple, we are yet to know the charming J-Lo And A-Rod plans on marriage and kids.
