Jade and Tanner Tolbert had their second child. Jade delivered her son while in their master closet.
Bachelor in Paradise star, Jade Roper Tolbert, welcomed her second child! They are very excited to have delivered a healthy baby. The delivery certainly wasn't what Jade had planned and she is still stunned how it all went down. Jade ended up giving birth to her child in their master closet. She shared a few pictures from right after giving birth and she also shared a video to her fans about her dramatic birth. They could not make it to the hospital in time and so they delivered their son right there in their home.
On the night that her son, Brooks, made his entrance, Jade shares that she had been having Braxton Hicks. She knew that he was going to come early and so she had called her mom in Nebraska and she was on a flight over to them. Jade called her husband, Tanner's, mother to come over and watch their daughter Emerson while they went to the hospital. She then started having contractions but she felt like she still had time. She wanted to take a bath while they waited for Tanner's mother. She said she was in so much pain that she got out of the bathtub.
She was in so much pain at that point and she went into their master closet to try to get dressed but she couldn't and she just collapsed. Jade called Tanner and told him that she couldn't even move and that "it was happening now!" Tanner started getting her in a T-shirt and started putting basketball shorts on her, but she was just in so much pain that she couldn't even help get herself dressed. Tanner said that all he was thinking was picking her up and carrying her to the car so they could make it to the hospital. That is when Tanner's mother showed up and Jade said she started screaming and telling him to call 9-1-1.

My birth story episode is now up on the Mommies Tell All podcast! I sat down with Carly a couple days ago and opened up to her about the details of the night and how it exactly came to be that Brooks was born in our closet. *link in bio to listen or check out my stories* ❤️My biggest gratitudes to Tanner, my mom, my mother-in-law, Laguna Beach OBGYN and Midwifery, the nurses at Mission Hospital and of course the Orange County Fire Authority Paramedics who all helped me through this labor, delivery and recovery.❤️
Tanner said that within minutes the baby was crowning and the emergency dispatcher told him to get some towels to lay out and so he ran and got some towels for her. The lady told her to be prepared to catch the baby but to try not to push until the ambulance arrives. Tanner and Tanner's mother both had a towel in their hands ready to catch the baby while Jade was trying to keep the baby in while being on all fours. The paramedics arrived and she was able to give one little push and the little baby made his entrance. He was born at 10:31 P.M and he weighed 7lbs 9oz. The paramedics put Jade on a gurney and then drove her to the hospital to get checked out.
Tanner and Jade are still so shocked that it happened all so fast. They were very terrified at the moment because they were not ready for a home birth and they were not expecting to have their child in their closet. They are just very happy that the little baby was fine and he is completely healthy.
Congratulations you guys on the new baby boy!
