James Van Der Beek shared how much he appreciates his wife and how much gratitude he has for her.

On November 18, James Van Der Beek revealed that his beautiful wife Kimberly suffered a devastating miscarriage. He shared that they had suffered with miscarriages before but never "this late in the pregnancy, and never accompanied by such a scary, horrific threat to @vanderkimberly and her well-being." They were expecting their child to arrive sometime in April. He thanked everybody who have been extremely supportive and who have given them kind words. He admitted that they are "Grieving AND counting our blessings today."

On December 30, James uploaded a beautiful and candid photo of his wife resting during the Thanksgiving festivities. His wife has gone through quite the traumatic experience on her mental and emotional health. Her health was in severe jeopardy when she went through a miscarriage that she had to have medical intervention. James wrote on his Instagram, "In a place of newfound gratitude to have @vanderkimberly in this world today. Got really scary for a minute there - scary enough to wake me up to how much appreciation I have for so many things I just take for granted."

When you are about to lose somebody you realize how much they mean to you and how important they are to your overall health. James could have lost his life through the whole debacle and so he is looking at all of the blessings he has right now. He continued his post by saying, "Also... thankful for all of you. I’ll admit, I paused for a moment, wondering if it was healthy to be thankful for one’s IG following, but it’s the quality of people on here I’m grateful for, not so much the quantity."  He wanted to thank all of his fans and followers for supporting them through this trial time. He wrote, "I’d never been so open (especially with tragedy) as I’ve been these last few weeks, and you responded with love and support and prayers and shared your own stories, and we felt the energy... and it helped. So thank you."

James concluded his post by writing, "Also grateful that @amandademme was at the same Thanksgiving last night, who saw Kimberly resting after dinner and turned it into this photo. #ArtSaves #happythanksgiving everyone ❤️"  Kimberly responded to James's Instagram by writing, "She is a genius. I like the one I posted better 😜. But genius. Baby... more grateful than ever for you. And yes, all these people here that are so loving and we get to share this journey with." When you look at Kimberly's page, she shared the exact same photo!

We are so grateful that we have been part of their journey and we are so saddened by the miscarriage news. We are sorry that you have had to deal with all of the trials you have dealt with in the past few weeks! We are thinking about you guys and wishing for some comfort.
