When Britney Spears came onto the scene in the 90s, the media loved the fact that she presented herself as a sweet and innocent girl. When her younger sister and star of Nickelodeon's Zoey 101 came to prominence, she had the same good-girl image. So, when she announced that she was pregnant at just 16, it caused quite the ruckus. Now 27 and having just welcomed her second child (first with businessman Jamie Watson), the actress-turned-country singer spoke to People about what it was like becoming a teen mom in the limelight.

Spears said that the adjustment going from mom of one - Maddie, almost 10 - to a mom of two has been a little hard to get used to, seeing as Maddie was her primary focus for a decade. Reflecting on what it was like having a child at the tender age of 17, she said "There was a lot of chaos around my first pregnancy. This time it's been a peaceful experience." The singer went on to say that she has an amazing husband, praising Watson for being such a good father.

It terms of raising two kids, she does what most of us try to do if we can. She advocates for sharing responsibilities with her significant other, in a system that she calls "efficient." Watson handles all of the drop offs and pick ups of Maddie, supervising her extra-curricular activities, while Jamie is on diaper duty and feeding. She also goes on to express her love for breastfeeding, hailing it as one of the best bonding experiences, and saying she "wouldn't change it for the world." When it comes to juggling her responsibilities and feeding though, Spears says it can be a little difficult. For instance, at one of Maddie's softball games she retreated to the car to feed Ivey, worried that she would embarrass her eldest daughter.

It looks like things are all turning up roses for the youngest Spears sister, and we couldn't be happier. Could this lead to a musical comeback? Time will only tell if we'll get a follow-up to 2016's Sleepover.
