Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner from the first season of Married at First Sight have gotten pregnant after enduring several miscarriages.

The couple is overjoyed to have finally conceived successfully and shared a post on Instagram announcing Otis' pregnancy to fans and followers. They shared a series of pictures with the sonogram as well as a post that showed her excitement. “We went to the fertility specialist and found out WE ARE PREGNANT!!!🤰🏼 I cannot even believe it!😭👏🏻🥰...after 18 long, painful months, two losses and negative after negative on the pregnancy tests we are *finally* pregnant again!💗 Of course I am being cautiously optimistic, but I have a feeling this little one is going to stick…”

After enduring so much pain and heartbreak, this is welcome news for the couple. They also shared that there is a possibility that they may be expecting twins, which Otis hopes is true. She estimates that she should be four weeks pregnant and wrote, “They said it’s most likely I’m further along but I would absolutely love twins."

Thanking all their fans and followers for their immense support throughout their journey, she ended her announcement saying, “Thank you, thank you, *THANK YOU!* for all the encouragement, love, & prayers. IT WORKED! WE ARE FINALLY PREGNANT !!!!!” The couple revealed that they had a second miscarriage earlier this year at ten weeks. Their doctor had informed them that the baby had stopped growing even though the amniotic sac surrounding the fetus continued to grow.

The first miscarriage occured in 2016 and was very depressing as Otis was four months into the pregnancy. The couple remembers the pregnancy as a happy memory and even share posts referring to the son they lost. On account of Mother's day, Otis shared adorable pictures of herself with daughter Henley, paying tribute to her lost son and remarking that he will never be forgotten. She wrote, “ We will never know his laugh or see him smile. Our hearts were ripped out of our chest,” she wrote about her loss. “My sweet angel baby, Johnathan Edward, made me a ‘real’ mommy for the first time. Although I only held him in my arms for a few short hours, I’ve carried him in my heart every single day since then.”

The Hehner's have a two-year-old girl named Henley Grace, and they have been trying to extend their family since she was born. We they embrace their bundle of joy soon.
