Reality TV stars Brittany Cartwright, 30, and Jax Taylor, 40 of Vanderpump Rules fame have announced that they will be trying for a baby next year! Cartwright, who married Taylor in June of this year, is already very much looking forward to being a mom and is wasting no time in getting prepared.
According to Hollywood Life, Cartwright told the magazine that though she isn't pregnant yet, some fans have apparently already assumed that she is (and have taken to various social media sites to express their excitement over it) but that's only because she's letting some of her "post-wedding weight" come back. The reality star had dieted prior to her summer wedding and feels that now is the right time to allow some of the weight to gradually come back to prepare her body to carry a baby.
She told Hollywood Life that she and Taylor were currently "in the process" and that she was "super excited" at the prospect of having a baby by 2020. While Cartwright has carefully let some of the weight come back, she also mentioned that it has caused her stress due to the pregnancy rumours that have already been stirred up.
She explained that sometimes it's not even the extra weight but rather just a bad angle or lighting issue. "I just try to be like, ‘Okay, that’s an unflattering photo. I know I can get my angles right and I’ll be okay.’ I just have to think of it like that," Cartwright told Hollywood Life.
As for people calling her pregnant before she actually is? She remarked that though she is aware that her fans are excited for her, the jump to conclusions on social media can cause hurt feelings especially if she's already feeling low. But not to worry. This newly married hopeful mother-to-be said that she is staying as positive and upbeat as she can, planning her family's future.
