All parents look forward to finally having a date night out to themselves. After constantly caring for a newborn baby, the idea of getting dressed up and spending a few hours away together sounds like a dream. Many celebrities recently had this opportunity when they attended the 77th Golden Globes award this past Sunday evening. However, one couple showed that even though they were away from their little one for a while, she was still first and foremost on their minds during the awards.

Actor Kieran Culkin of the hit series Succession was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in a Series. He and his wife of seven years Jazz Charton attended the ceremony while a babysitter watched their three-month-old daughter Kinsey. Throughout the evening, Charton shared several completely relatable “mom-life” pictures to her Instagram story, revealing that celebrities are just like any other parent.

One picture shows Charton getting ready for the awards with a hair and make-up artist and breastfeeding Kinsey at the same time. She appropriately captioned the photo with, “Running late...” Then, she shared a fun picture of her and Culkin in a car titled, “Mom and Dad Date Night”. Her next photo is quite surprising. She posted a selfie with a hand-held breast pump with the caption, “Guess who was pumping while Kieran lost AGAIN?”.

That’s right, in the white drawstring bag Charton was carrying, she brought her breast pump to the ceremony knowing she would need to use it. She later posted another picture with celebrity friend Sarah Snook in a bathroom while she pumped. Though her bottle may not be as tantalizing as the champagne brought by Beyoncé and Jay-Z, it is the most important thing she could have brought to the awards.

One of the last photos shared was taken when the couple returned from the “Official HBO Golden Globes After Party.” Charton, still in her dress, breastfeeds Kinsey before putting her to bed. The picture is such a tender moment because the couple actually left the after-party early in order to see their daughter. Their whole evening out proves how devoted they are as parents, and how committed Charton is to breastfeeding Kinsey.
