It sounds like Jenna Dewan is very thankful she’s more than halfway through her pregnancy! The actress, who’s currently expecting a child with her boyfriend Steve Kazee, recently admitted that she endured morning sickness at the beginning of this pregnancy.
While speaking to Extra, Dewan explained, “In the beginning, I was a little sick- a lot sick, a lot sick- but now I’m good.” However, she went on to reveal that things have gotten better now that she's farther along.
We’re glad to hear the busy mama has been doing better now that she’s in her second trimester- especially since she’s been working so hard. Dewan has been filming for her new show, Flirty Dancing, a reality dating show that will debut later this month on Fox. “The shows are so fun and I’m literally talking about love and happiness all day long,” she said of working while expecting. “It couldn’t be a better show to be doing while pregnant, that’s for sure.”
However, not everything has been smooth sailing in Dewan’s personal life recently. Just last week, reports suggested she and her ex-husband, Channing Tatum, have been disagreeing over custody of their 6-year old daughter, Everly. Baby Gaga previously reported that Tatum petitioned the court to make a legal custody agreement pertaining to Everly’s holiday schedule. The site reports Tatum requested to have his daughter on Father’s Day as well as his birthday. But he wants to split major holidays with his ex-wife and also spend her birthdays together.
Tatum also requested to take Everly along with him on special work trips. “[Jenna] and I are fortunate to have employment that offers us unique and once in a lifetime opportunity,” leaked court documents explained. “I would like to be able to share these experiences with Everly and believe that Everly would benefit from getting to take advantage of such opportunities.”
Dewan and Tatum initially announced their split in April of 2018, although they only finalized their divorce this year. Dewan had only gone public with her romance with Kazee several months before they announced her pregnancy. Tatum, on the other hand, has been romancing British pop star Jessie J, who has been vocal about her desire to have children in the future.
