Jennifer Garner has launched an organic baby food company as she continues her mission of making baby food healthier.

The actress, who is currently starring in Love Simon, initially cofounded Once Upon a Farm to create a farm-to-table or rather farm-to-highchair food line for kids. However, since the company began it has turned into so much more for Garner.

While the organic baby food company was launched back in September 2017, thanks to Garner’s social media activity it is gaining even more attention now.

“As a mom of three and Save the Children artist ambassador, I am passionate about childhood nutrition and making sure we are leaving a healthier and happier planet for the next generation,” the actress explained to People magazine when Once Upon a Farm launched.

The new organic food company offers a line of cold-pressed organic baby food and applesauce. They are working on expanding their product line to into new categories with the goal of providing as many children as possible with the best tasting, most nutritious, and highest quality foods. The new food company is all about saving the environment, as well. Once Upon a Farm is using sustainable methods to create their organic products.

Garner is the co-founder of the company along with Cassandra Curtis, Ari Raz, and John Foraker. The latter is the former president of the organic company Annie’s. Most recently the actress spoke to LivingMaxwell.com in depth about her passion behind starting this company and it has everything to do with her own kids.

“I had been looking for a while to partner with an early-stage brand in the food space. And as a mom with three kids, I have three lunch boxes to pack each day and understand the problems that must be solved with serving fresh food to young children,” Garner shared.

Jennifer Garner has launched an organic baby food line, but don’t think she is just slapping her name on the company. The actress plans to be there every step of the way on the new adventure.

“With Once Upon a Farm, it will be the same, and I plan on being very involved. More specifically, I will be a part of innovating on new products, participating in design, going on sales calls and making sure the world knows we exist,” revealed Garner.
