Jennifer Love Hewitt got nostalgic the other day for her first pregnancy and those days before her life changed like she never dreamed it would.
The actress used Instagram to share a rare photo of herself during her first pregnancy. It has been five years since she was pregnant with her daughter Autum. The picture shows a beautiful Love Hewitt glowing and showing her tiny baby bump. She shared that this particular photo was special to her because it was the first picture ever taken of her when she was expecting.
In the post she opened up about how, at the time, she had no idea how much her life would change. The impact getting married and having kids has had on the 39-year-old’s life has been profound. She calls choosing to marry her The Client List co-star Brian Hallisay and have babies with him the best choice she ever made in life. They married in 2013, not long before their daughter was born. The couple welcomed their son, Atticus, in 2015.

Life certainly has changed for the actress, who rose to fame thanks to her role as Sarah Reeves Merrin on the Fox hit show Party of Five. She was only 15-years-old at the time but she had already been working for years. Once the show ended the actress was able to move onto more adult roles in Ghost Whisperer and, of course, Lifetime’s The Client List.
Lately, she has taken a step back from her career to focus on her family. Ever since Autum was born, which happened around the same time her Lifetime show ended, Jennifer Love Hewitt has been all about her brood. Her recent trip down memory lane proved she is just fine with that choice.
The timing of her nostalgic baby bump post is interesting though, as it comes a couple of weeks after it was announced that she would be returning to acting. Love Hewitt will join the second season of Fox’s 9-1-1 in the fall. Perhaps part of her looking back is about her looking forward to how she will soon be balancing work and motherhood. Whatever her reason, it was definitely nice for her fans to see her being a little nostalgic.
