Jeremy Roloff has starred on his family's hit TLC reality show Little People, Big World since it first premiered in 2004. Jeremy literally grew up in front of the eyes of the hit show's fans, and has even gone on to feature his wedding and the birth of his daughter on the reality show.

Jeremy and his wife Audrey  were married in 2014 and welcomed their daughter Ember in 2017. While Jeremy has been sharing his life with fans of the reality show since he was a teenager, he had decided that he and his family will no longer be reality stars as he announced they would no longer be filming for TLC.

Fans of the often controversial couple are very sad that they will no longer get to watch them on their television screens weekly, but both Jeremy and Audrey have assured them that, just because they will no longer be on reality television, it doesn't mean they're going to be leaving the spotlight. The couple are both incredibly active on social media and Audrey runs her own online store as well as her own blog. They've have also written their first book together detailing their dating journey and their life as a married couple.

For readers who are fans of Audrey and Jeremy and are sad they won't be on television screens weekly, here are 20 interesting things about the couple people may not have known.

20 She wasn't really interested in him at first

Believe it or not, Audrey and Jeremy met on a blind date after they were set up by mutual friends who were dating at the time and now, like Audrey and Jeremy, are married. Audrey was a freshman in college and it was during a trip home to Portland, Oregon that she and Jeremy went on that fateful blind date.

Both were home for the weekend when they went on their date before Church, and Audrey, who is an avid runner, had come straight from a run! Needless to day, it didn't seem that Audrey was taking the date too seriously. In fact, she wasn't overly interested after first meeting Jeremy, but he was definitely smitten.

19 Definitely Not Love At First Sight

While it would make a great story to say that it was love at first sight between Audrey and Jeremy, that definitely wasn't the case!

In an interview with TLC, the couple recounted their first meeting. “I thought he was cute when he walked through the door, but I wasn’t, like, seeing the future in that moment,” Audrey explained of the first time she met her future husband. “Contrary to what many believe, it wasn’t love at first sight, necessarily,” Jeremy added.

Jeremy also added that he was unimpressed that Audrey wasn't ready and was still in her sweaty running attire when he met her for their date. Audrey insisted that Jeremy was early, which is why she wasn't ready yet. Thankfully these two managed to work it out!

18 Their Decision To Leave Reality TV Was Jeremy's

In case you haven't heard, Audrey and Jeremy have announced they will no longer be participating in the filming of Little People, Big World.

Jeremy Roloff made the announcement on his Instagram page letting his fans and followers know that he was finally done with the show after 14 seasons.

“This is an announcement concerning Jeremy Roloff and his family specifically: After 14 years, over 300 episodes, and 17 seasons, the time has come. A year ago I made the decision that this season would be our last,” he began.

“It has been an amazing run, and I can’t say thank you enough to all of you who have watched and supported us along the ride. We have the most loyal fans on TV and we appreciate every one of you. You are what made doing this so fun,” he wrote.

17 Audrey Was Fully Supportive

While Audrey was only on the reality show for a few years, she wrote about how she has shared so many of her life's milestones with fans of the show. Still, she fully supports her husband's decision to move on.

“Mostly, I am so proud of my husband who has grown up in the public eye and yet remained grounded, wise, and steadfast in his faith," she wrote on her own Instagram post. "This decision is one that I respect him for immensely. ‘Here’s hail to the rest of the road!’ I love you Farmer. Psalm 20:7 #journeyofjerandauj #beating50percent.”"

16 They were long-distance for three years

It then took two years of Jeremy 'faithfully and diligently' pursuing Audrey before they began to officially date. They remained long distance friends during those two years before Audrey agreed to date Jeremy. “I know, I was stubborn,” she wrote on her website.

The couple then did the long distance relationship thing for three full years before finally living in the same state. “We were only in the same city for a month before getting married at Roloff Farms,” Audrey wrote on her blog, Auj Poj.

Jeremy also shared a very cringe worthy story of their first kiss, explaining that he had set up a super romatic scene during a blood moon. He had lain out bales of hay with a blanket draped over it, but when he leaned in for a kiss, Audrey totally denied him and he ended up kissing her on the forehead!

15 Audrey Waited A Full Year Before Saying 'I Love You' Back

While both Jeremy and especially Audrey seem like they are a very open couple, it seems that it took Audrey a bit longer than Jeremy to admit her true feelings.

In a post on her official Facebook page Audrey shared some facts about her relationship with Jeremy that 'you wouldn't know about from social media.' The mother of Ember revealed that it was Jeremy who said 'I love you,' first, and Audrey didn't say it back right away.

"After the first time Jeremy said “I love you” it took me a full year to say it back... Needless to say, I had some walls up. But Jeremy continued to pursue me in patient anticipation of demo day," she wrote.

Sounds like Jeremy was not only totally smitten but also very patient!

14 Jeremy Taught Audrey How To Drive Stick

Jeremy feels that it's time that Audrey learn how to drive stick shift and he's going to be the one to teach her, so he took her out in his Jeep to give her a lesson. The entire lesson was filmed for their reality show, and Jeremy admitted that while Audrey had driven stick before, it was probably one of those 'first boyfriend' things.

After Audrey did in fact admit that it was an old boyfriend who taught her how to drive stick, Jeremy took her to a quiet piece of road so he could give her a refresher course. Nothing tests a relationship as much as one teaching the other to drive!

13 She Was a Barre Instructor Who Values Health and Wellness

Audrey Roloff takes her fitness seriously. The former collegiate runner, who still laces up her shoes every time she can, was also a certified Barre instructor. Audrey fell in love with Barre and began posting challenges on her blog before deciding to become certified herself.

12 He Proposed To Her In Their 'Special Spot' Near The Family Farm

Jeremy told TLC that when it came to proposing to Audrey, he wanted the rink to be a surprise. A friend put him in contact with a ring designer and Jeremy took it from there, designing a ring he thought that Audrey would love.

He then decided on their own 'special spot' near his family's farm as the location that he would pop the big question. "I went through a couple of options," he explained to TLC about how he decided on the perfect location. "However, in the back of my mind, I knew. It would be the place we met every time I would come home, the place I asked Audrey to be my girlfriend, the place we found ourselves stargazing waiting for the train to come, the place I threw our shoes up on a wire on our first date, boldly claiming, "we'll see what happens with us" and now the place I would ask Audrey to marry me. The train trestle -- it's "our spot.""

11 They Were Married On The Roloff Family Farm

Jeremy and Audrey were married on September 20, 2014 and planned the wedding even though they were still living apart. The couple married on Roloff Farms and had 300 wedding guests in attendance.

Audrey explained her magical day to The Knot: "We planned our wedding while living in different states, but it turned out to be everything we ever dreamed that it would be — and more. It was a warm summer day full of flower fields, flower crowns, vintage style, floral, copper and lace accents, quilts, food, drinks, frolicking, dancing, laughing, embracing, communing, toasting, storytelling, rejoicing, sparkling, cheering and most importantly, LOVE. "

10 Beating The 50%

Audrey and Jeremy are also working together, writing their own marriage blog aimed at giving other couples marriage advice. "Beating 50 Percent is our marriage blog. Here you will find videos, photos, and writings that inspire covenant marriages. Marriages that are undividedly devoted, completely committed, persistently selfless, value-centered, joy-filled, and love-based," they explained.

"Beating 50 Percent is about building better than average marriages, and giving more than 50% to your spouse. Let’s be compelled to give more, serve more, learn more, play more, seek more, and love more, always more, as we share stories and insights from married couples around the world."

9 Audrey Loves Social Media

She has an active Facebook and Instagram page where she shares lots of pictures of her family, especially daughter Ember. While some reality stars shut down when the cameras are off, Audrey loves social media and connecting with fans.

Jeremy and Audrey have taken their blog success to the next level and recently released their first book together titled, 'A Love Letter Life: Pursue Creatively, Date Intentionally, Love Faithfully.' The couple offer up their advice on how to fall in love and stay in love.

"In A Love Letter Life, Audrey and Jeremy share vulnerable insights from their own journey, encourage readers to stop settling for convenient relationships, offer perspective on male and female differences in dating, tackle tough topics like purity, give their nine rules for fighting well, suggest fun ideas for connection in a world of technology, and provide fresh advice on how to intentionally pursue a love story that never ends."

7 Everyone Needs A Break From Social Media

Even though it's clear that Audrey really loves social media, even she admitted that with a book deadline coming, she needed to take a break so she could focus! The reality star shared with her fans that she and Jeremy would be taking a break from sharing their loves on social media so they could put all their time and energy in to writing their book.

"@jeremyroloff and I will be taking a bit of a social media break," Audrey told fans on Instagram. "We're not exactly sure how long, but we need to unplug for a bit. I saw a quote the other day that said, 'Almost anything will work again if you unplug it for a minute or two. Especially you.' We need more than a minute though... so I'm signing off for a few weeks in order to give undivided attention to writing our book and being with our baby girl."

6 Their Religious Views Have Caused Some Controversy

Many people have raised their eyebrows at Audrey and Jeremy writing a book on marriage advice, especially after they've only been married for 4 short years, but nothing shocked fans more than when Audrey described how they incorporate their religion in to their private time together. Sharing a story on their blog Beating 50%, Audrey had many people up in arms when she wrote about reciting her marriage vows in the bedroom.

"I'll spare you the details, but it was the most [private] thing we have ever done in our marriage, and probably the most [private] thing I have ever done in my life," she wrote. "The act of becoming physically and verbally one (at the same time), ensues an ocean of [closeness] that I cannot attempt to describe.'"

5 Ember's Milestone Birthday

Audrey and Jeremy recently celebrated daughter Ember's birthday on September 1st and they shared the big day on social media.

"I can’t even. My baby girl is ONE," Audrey wrote on her Facebook page. "All day I’ve been trying to put words to my emotions, but I just can’t. I know that might seem cliché, but it’s the unvarnished truth. Maybe it hasn’t hit me yet. I have a one year old?! What happened to the palm-sized, squinty-eyed, sweetly-swaddled little miracle that we brought into the world 365 days ago?"

Thankfully for fans the couple are back in full force on social media and are sharing every moment of little Ember's big day.

4 Audrey Had A Pretty Difficult Birth Experience

Audrey welcomed baby Ember 12 days past her due date and while her delivery was ok, Audrey's recovery was less than typical.

“My milk came in so fast, and they just couldn’t get it out. One of the nurses said it was the worst case they’d seen in a decade," she explained in an episode of Little People, Big World. "I can’t hold Ember because I’m in so much pain. It was a horrible experience."

To make matters worse, she then got mastitis.

“I wouldn’t say that I got to enjoy being a mom those first few weeks," she said. "I was in lots of pain. There was swelling and inflammation. And then I also had issues with just like blistering and bruising. It was just not good.”

3 The Couple Have Been Criticized for some of their views

The couple, who consider themselves 'Christian bloggers' have come under fire in the past when they were accused of being homophobic. On their Beating 50 Percent blog, Aurey writes the purpose of their blog is to “inspire covenant marriages” and “encourage husbands and wives to give more than 50% to their spouse.”

After being asked why the couple only provides advice to heterosexual couples, Audrey allegedly responded in the comments section.

“We are not claiming to be a resource for same-sex marriages,” she allegedly wrote in the comments. “It is not something we agree with.”

She did stress that all couples, whether opposite sex or same sex, were welcome to read the blog, but allegedly wrote that their advice was for straight couples only.

“We are for opposite-sex marriages that are striving to give more than average to their marriages,” she continued. “To live out the covenant of marriage every day, and to center their marriage around Christ. That being said, know that our content is not written to same-sex marriages, so to say that we don’t offer advice for that side is accurate.”

The comments have since been deleted.

2 They Want To Have A Big Family

As soon as a couple gets married, inevitably the 'when are you having babies?' questions starts. And as soon as you have one baby, people want to know when you're having more!

Audrey and Jeremy just celebrated daughter Ember's first birthday, and while they haven't made any recent announcements about expanding their family, they did tell PEOPLE that they can't wait to have a big family.

“Jer and I definitely want to have more children,” Audrey told the magazine. “We’ve never really put a number on it, we want to take them one at a time. We’ve always envisioned a big family, that’s always been something we’ve talked about from the very beginning."

“Enough to fill up a sprinter van,” Jeremy joked in response.

1 They Write Each Other A Letter On Their Anniversary To Be Read The Following Year

Audrey revealed on her blog that they made a vow on their honeymoon that they would write each other a letter on their anniversary.

"The second pact Jeremy and I made on our honeymoon was to write each other letters to be read on our anniversary the following year," she wrote. "For example, we wrote each other letters on our honeymoon that we wax seal pressed in envelopes to be opened on our one-year anniversary. "

The couple still do this and even titled their book, 'A Love Letter Life.'
