Apples don’t usually fall far from the tree, and Jessica Simpsons’ toddler daughter Birdie is no exception. Over the years, Jessica has been designing clothing, perfume, shoes, and home decor for her brand that is found in department stores all over the country. Though she is more famously known for her singing career from the 2000s, she has become quite the name in the fashion industry.
Jessica’s youngest daughter, Birdie, has seem to have grown to a love for fashion as well. Jessica recently posted an adorable picture of Birdie wearing a long sleeved green romper designed by the singer, fuzzy boots, and a leopard print headband. In the caption, Jessica explained: “Birdie definitely takes after her mom...her second word was ‘Shoes!’” She added that little Birdie Mae asks to change her shoes multiple times a day and will wear anyone’s shoes that she can find. In previous posts we’ve seen Birdie dressed as a cute pig with a tutu, having a “Marilyn moment” in a pink dotted dress on top of an air vent, and relaxing in a pink romper with fringe around her sleeves. Needless to say, this little girl seems to always be dressed at her best.
The “Public Affair” singer and her husband, NFL player Eric Johnson, currently live in Texas with their three children, Maxwell, Ace, and Birdie. In recent interviews with PEOPLE magazine, Jessica honestly explained how she is handling quarantine with her family. She said it has been a “very enlightening experience, prayerful, [and] a journey for sure”. But she has been able to enjoy her time at home because Birdie is keeping the entire family entertained. Jessica mentioned, “She's so cute...She's also a bruiser, she'll just go darting off in one second and you're like, 'Wait, how'd you get all the way over there?'”. Most parents can relate to this, especially with toddlers being stuck at home all day.
Jessica and her sister, Ashlee, are both enjoying working in and outside of the home. Ashlee recently gave birth to her third child, a boy named Ziggy Blu, with her husband Evan Ross. Jessica and Ashlee do not always agree on everything, but it is obvious how much they truly support each other. They are constantly commenting on each other’s social media posts and say nothing but compliments. We love seeing families come together, now more than ever, and we can’t wait to see more of Jessica and her kids as they grow up!
