Jessica Simpson’s new baby just celebrated her first Easter with a family portrait. Birdie Mae, born on March 19, is the singer’s third child with husband Eric Johnson. The family gathered for a picture at an Easter party yesterday, which Simpson shared on Instagram.

"Happy Easter from the Johnson Family, Party of 5!" the singer, 38, captioned the image that showed Birdie with sister Maxwell Drew, 6, and brother Ace Knute, 5. In the pic, the girls wore floral dresses and the boys wore blue suits. Simpson also shared a picture of Birdie sleeping in a crib adorned with roses, wearing a lace headband. "Omg those cheeks!!!" wrote actress Busy Philipps, whose daughter is also named Birdie.

Another image showed Maxi Drew standing beside Birdie’s crib in her matching floral dress. Simpson’s Instagram Story shared images of her beautiful Easter party with countless flowers, decorated eggs, and sweets.

Simpson and Johnson married in July 2014. Birdie, who according to sources was not expected, was a welcome addition to the family. In the past, Simpson mentioned being happy with just two kids. Johnson, who played football at Yale and was later drafted by the San Francisco 49ersformer NFL player, has reportedly been a "super dad" since the new baby arrived, according to a source, who added that Maxi and Ace have also been "very helpful and sweet with the baby."

Simpson’s pregnancy was difficult and she ended up having a C-section. “I think we all get so carried away with the excitement of having a new baby that we forget that we are going in for major surgery,” she wrote on Instagram on April 1. “Then on top of that, we get home from the hospital, have to recover from the surgery, balance our new life as a parent to three kids and be a wife.”

During the pregnancy, Simpson, 38, was hospitalized several times for bronchitis. In February, she credited her kids with being the "one thing that gets me through this pregnancy." In an Instagram post in February, she stated she was happy to be able to walk without pain again after struggling with sciatica and swollen feet.

“After a month of sciatica pain, followed by three weeks of bronchitis, I figured since my feet fit in my sneaks today, I needed to walk out a lot of anxiety!!” she wrote.

Simpson's sister, singer Ashlee Simpson, shared in Jessica’s happiness in a recent interview. "Little Birdie's adorable and amazing," Ashlee, 34, said. "She's doing great. ... She's the cutest."

“I’m so proud of her because I think pregnancy is not easy and it’s different for every woman,” she added. “And I think it’s really beautiful to speak out about what you’re going through with each pregnancy. … I respect it. We all need to hear that. It’s not like you get a cute bump and you’re done for her.”
