Jessica Szohr recently became a first-time mom when she welcomed her daughter, Bowie Ella, earlier this month. Now, the Gossip Girl alum is giving fans an inside look at how her first week of motherhood is going, and she’s not holding anything back. Jessica shared a candid photo of herself breastfeeding with her 788,000 Instagram followers with a caption on multitasking.

“Multi-what??” she captioned the sweet photo. “Bowie, Birdie, boobie, bougie homemade salad, rocking/gliding my cutie, comfy with my slides, and supporting my man’s new squad.” She added by asking her followers, “How’s your hour going?” In the photo, Jessica can be seen breastfeeding her infant daughter while she simultaneously snacks on a salad. A baby crib as well as various products can be seen in the background, while the actress sat in a glider nursing her baby girl.

PEOPLE Magazine notes that the comments were filled with supportive messages for the first-time mom, commending her ability to multitask and still show it off on Instagram with a big smile on her face.

BabyGaga reported that Jessica welcomed her first child a week ago. She shares her newborn with professional hockey player Brad Richardson. Though this is the first child for the GG alum, it’s the second for her beau, who has a daughter, Lexi, from a previous relationship. Jessica acknowledged her partner and his daughter in an Instagram post announcing their baby girl’s arrival. “This journey with Brad and Lexi has been one of the most beautiful experiences of my life,” she wrote, adding she has “all the feels” after delivering her daughter.

She originally announced her pregnancy last September when she shared a black-and-white photo of her boyfriend kissing her burgeoning baby bump. “Full of joy!” she captioned the sweet photo. Jessica documented her pregnancy widely on social media, posting images of her baby bump, including a series of images from her baby shower. Filled with pink decorations and floral arrangements, she used the post to confirm a baby girl was on the way without explicitly saying it in the caption of the Instagram post.

While Jessica seems to be adjusting well to motherhood, including getting the hang of breastfeeding, the Orville star previously expressed her anxieties over nursing. Admitting she was “nervous” at the thought of breastfeeding; she asked her Instagram followers “Is that wrong?” in a candid post made to her Stories in December. She added that she’d been taking breastfeeding classes in preparation of welcoming her first child, though she said it did little to subside her worries.

We can’t wait to hear more of how Jessica is enjoying motherhood!
