Jill (Duggar) Dillard shared a monthly update photo of her youngest son, Samuel, but added a hilarious twist.
In keeping with the rule of many new moms on social media Jill has been sharing photo updates of her little man each time he grows one month older. She hasn't been doing this every single month, but hey, she's a busy mom of two, so who can blame her? But this time, she decided to mix things up a bit in her family. She started out with little Samuel Scott Dillard, all of eleven months old as indicated on his stylish t-shirt. He seems awfully happy with that age based on his expression.
Users who swiped past the photo of Samuel were brought to a photo of her elder son Israel, who is apparently the ripe old age of 38 months (that’s two months older than age 3, for those keeping track). He also seems very happy with his placard.
Then we move on to husband Derick Dillard, who is a whopping 351 months old (which is just over 29). He doesn’t look a day over 340 months, to be perfectly honest.
The impromptu photo shoot then ends with an exuberant Samuel attempting to escape the duvet, leaving Israel and Derick in hot pursuit.
While the update was mostly to poke a bit of fun a mommy meme, it certainly went down well with Dillard’s fans. One user replied with a row of smiley faces, while most others mimicked the sentiments of one user that replied, “Haha, Awesome!”
Wondering why these four have not been gracing the small screen as of late? Derick was fired from the set of Counting On last November after making several transphobic tweets against Jazz Jennings, a fellow TLC star and trans rights activist. Jill left the show as well in solidarity with her man.
Since then, Derick has been hard at work studying to be an international missionary with Cross Church School of Ministry. Meanwhile, momma Dillard has been trying her hand at being a mommy blogger, by sharing her family online with anyone who cares to look. She even has her own website.
Her most recent updates feature the family out and about on June 8th, first going to a local pond to play with the geese and then over to a Krispy Kreme to take advantage of National Donut Day, and get a free donut.
