If you have more than one child, then you'll know that the nerves never really go away when you're expecting. Sure, you might get used to the general things about being pregnant, but the anticipation is just as ripe with your next child as it was with your first. According to Fixer Upper's Joanna Gaines, the fifth child is no different either.
Joanna is expecting baby number five with husband Chip, but it's been a while since she's gone through the experience. The 39-year-old wrote a letter to fans ahead of the series finale of Fixer Upper on Tuesday. "Since it's been over eight years since I was pregnant with Emmie Kay, I joke with my friends that it feels like it's my first time being pregnant," said the star. "The best thing about all of this is the excitement that my kids have shown for their new baby brother. Since I had our first four babies so close to one another, none of them actually remember me being pregnant." The soon-to-be mother of five went on to detail her latest bumpalicious experience, claiming this time round it was fun as she took plenty of time to take naps and eat. That sounds like our kind of pregnancy, right ladies?
The happily married couple have been mourning the end of their HGTV show this month after its fifth season. There's no signs the power couple will be slowing down, with new shows already in the works as well as continuing their ongoing business pursuits outside of the show. The pair have both earned a pretty penny thanks to the series which reportedly bagged them $30,000 per episode to see them transform run-down homes for their owners. While the makeover show is coming to an end, it's just the begging for the real estate moguls.
Both Chip and Joanna took to social media after the finale last week, saying "The end is bittersweet, but we are excited for what's to come." We have no doubt the Gaines' will be straight back on the grind after welcoming their healthy baby boy. We can't wait to see pictures!
