Real Housewives Of Miami alum Joanna Krupa and husband Douglas Nunes are on Cloud Nine– they just welcomed their first child on Saturday, November 2nd, 2019! The couple had revealed the exciting news of their pregnancy in late May.

A rep for Krupa shared with PEOPLE that the newborn weighed 6 lbs., 15 oz., measured 20 inches, and that “Mom and daughter are doing great.”

Through a touching Instagram post- which showed the 40-year-old mom cradling her newborn- Krupa revealed Asha-Leigh Nunes as the name of their newborn daughter. She wrote on Sunday morning, “One of the most amazing emotional and hardest days of my life. Little baby girl Asha-Leigh Nunes born on 11/02/19 at 550pm. All I can say is women are true warriors.”

Krupa was formerly married to a nightclub owner named Romain Zago. Their relationship lasted from 2013 to 2017. She met Nunes in October of 2017, and they married less than a year later on August 4th, 2018, in Poland.

In May 2019, she posted a cute selfie with Nunes holding her pregnancy test results, captioned as “Just wanted to share this amazing news with everyone. Hubby @nunes451and I are beyond excited about this new chapter in our life and can’t wait to meet this little 😇🤰🏼🙏🏻.”

Later in September, with another adorable pic of theirs with their pets, the model announced that they were expecting a girl.

To cherish her journey into motherhood, she also documented her baby bump through a series of photos while posing in a bikini on the beach. Krupa said, “I always admired women that were pregnant, and to me it’s such a beautiful moment in a woman’s life. I wanted to make sure it’s captured.”

She believed that women are nothing less than “superheroes," and she has always felt proud of their bodies, which can give birth to a new life. Krupa wanted to let others know that women look “beautiful, sexy and full of confidence," even while nurturing a life within them.

During her pregnancy, Krupa often shared updates on Instagram to keep her fans posted on her progress, and her fitness routine. In the last month, she said to PEOPLE, “I feel blessed because my pregnancy overall has been easy until now, the last month. It’s getting a little harder because I am more tired, but I won’t complain as I have heard some horror stories of women being sick for nine months. I guess I’m getting off easy compared to some, but I won’t hold my breath as I’m not due until Nov. 4, so anything can change.”

Poland's Next Top Model had freaked out a bit about her labor. However, Krupa said she was confident that with her mom and husband beside her, she'd be able to get through giving birth.

Congratulations to the new parents on their little bundle of joy!
