And baby makes three!

Josh Gracin and wife, Katie, welcomed their son, Luka, into the world on Monday, January 13. This is the couple's first child together. The couple, who married in 2017, told People Magazine that they "couldn't be more excited to welcome our son Luka into the world."

Gracin, who was married once before to Ann Marie Kovacs, 39, has four children ranging from ages 11 to 17, as a result of that marriage. They were married from 2001 until approximately 2014. The couple had their share of ups and downs, worst of which was when Gracin posted an apparent suicide message to Facebook. Authorities were dispatched to his residence for a welfare check. Gracin was not at the residence and was later pulled over while en route to the hospital. He received a police escort to the hospital and was placed on a psychiatric hold.  Since that time, he has had no other incidents of this magnitude to report.

The American Idol alum and his graphic designer wife had previously told People that they chose the name Luka to represent Gracin's father's "Croatin heritage and Italian blood." According to  behindthename.com, Luka is another name for Luke, which means, "from Lucania."

The couple has been trying for a child for a little over a year and credits constant prayer as the reason baby Luka is here today. Gracin also gave credit to Katie for delivering a healthy, happy, baby, telling People, "My amazing wife endured so much to make sure our little boy arrived healthy and happy." Gracin, 39, met his future wife while she was working part-time at a local hot spot called the Tin Roof, in 2015. At the time, Katie, 28, was working while going to school to become a graphic designer. The two bonded over a number of common interests and eventually, Gracin asked her out. The rest, as they say, is history.

Prior to his time on Idol, Gracin was enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and stationed at Camp Pendleton in California. He received an honorary discharge to be able to compete on the show and to begin his foray into the music world.
