Josiah and Lauren Duggar reveal that they are expecting a sweet little baby girl!

In May we were able to hear the exciting news that Josiah Duggar and his wife Lauren are expecting a sweet little baby! It was especially amazing to hear about their news when just a few months prior they shared the devastating news that they have experienced a miscarriage. Josiah and Lauren said that they had a miscarriage and it was a terrible moment for both of them. They were quite traumatized by what happened. Now that they are this far in their pregnancy they feel very lucky that both Lauren and the baby are healthy.

Josiah and Lauren were able to reveal the sex of their first child. They revealed the gender in front of all their friends and family. The couple had a few balloons that were filled with colored confetti. If the baby was a boy then the balloons would explode with blue and if the baby was a girl then the balloons would explode with pink. The family took turns popping balloons filled with white confetti and then the final balloon popped with pink confetti. Josiah and Lauren are having a baby girl! The couple shared on the Counting On website, "If she only knew how loved she is already and how many people are already praying for her! She truly is a gift… a miracle from God.” The couple feels "very grateful" for their sweet little baby.

Lauren's pregnancy has been very uneventful and they feel like they are so blessed to have a beautiful healthy little baby girl. When you become pregnant after a miscarriage you are even more grateful for your rainbow baby. Josiah and Lauren have experienced a miscarriage and now they are even more happy that their pregnancy is going so well.

Lauren has shared her experience with having a miscarriage. Josiah shares that they left to go to a friends wedding. While they were there Lauren started feeling extremely sick and she started having really bad cramps. She never really experiences cramps and so she felt like something really wrong was happening. She went into the bathroom and "there was the baby." Lauren said that she was absolutely devastated and she knew immediately that her pregnancy was over. She cried for quite a long time because she already loved the baby so much. Now, they are just even more grateful that the pregnancy has gotten to this point.
