What could singer-songwriter, actor, dancer, and record producer Justin Timberlake possibly have in common with professional golfer Tiger Woods (aside from notoriety)? The answer's simple- parenthood. TMZ Sports has reported that experiencing global mega-fame and balancing parenthood has united the odd pair. Although not the genesis of their existing bond, the fact that they're both remarkable dads is certainly a defining factor.

What's poignant about this friendship is the honor the poised legends bestow upon one another. US Weekly shares that Justin Timberlake was enlisted to share his thoughts on Tiger Woods and his legacy for Time’s 100 Most Influential People in 2019. The four-time Emmy award winner recounts the time he and Woods spent together delving into fatherhood.

“We discussed how we want our children to see us and how you balance your dedication to them with a competitive drive.”

Timberlake also added how he told Woods about his son Silas Randall, who recently turned four. He related that Silas was beginning to realize what he does. Timberlake also divulged that the kinship he and Woods share is the analogous hope they both have for their kids - for them to watch them at their best.

“Tiger told me that he hoped his children, who are 11 and 10, would one day see him win a major."

Timberlake's post became a touching homage to Woods, 43, as he applauded his work ethic, devotion, and patience. He focused on his magnificent climb from surgeries and rehab, as well as the countless hours he spent training. Woods' struggles and contending behind the scenes is something Timberlake valued, as it led him to what he called, “arguably the greatest comeback in sports history." The reference is Woods’ first Masters Tournament win in more than a decade back on Sunday, April 15th, 2019. What makes the comeback even more monumental is that he gave his children the gift of seeing him at his best.

"To have my kids here, it's come full circle," he later added. Woods brought tears to the eyes of many fans as he joyfully embraced his son, Charlie, just as he'd embraced his own father 22 years ago when he won the tournament the first time.

Timberlake is also a hero to his adoring family. Wife and actress Jessica Biel paid an emotional tribute to her husband the final night of his Man of the Woods tour.

“I just am in absolute awe of you every night to see you up there in your glory, doing what you’ve been put on this Earth to do. You inspire me, you inspire Silas. You inspire everyone around you — all of your fans, all of your friends and family — to work as hard and as with so much passion as you do. You are truly a sight to behold. I’m so happy that you’re going to get some time off. I’m so happy for you and for us.”

Timberlake and Woods have a laudable bond, genuinely authenticated in history with Time Magazine's iconic feature. However, they're distinguished for something equally powerful. They're legends; not only to the world but to the people who matter to them most- their families.
