They're some of the highest-profile dads in Hollywood. Kanye West and Scott Disick are both Kardashian parents. When it comes to parenting though, these two dads couldn't be farther apart. Both have three kids. Both have a career in show business. While Kanye has been married to Kim Kardashian since 2014, Scott remains the "on-off" boyfriend to Kourtney Kardashian– although they're currently "off."

How celebs raise their kids is fascinating. Angelina Jolie? She gifts her kids rare knives and encourages them to eat bugs. Mayim Bialik? When she isn't filming episodes of The Big Bang Theory, Mayim is encouraging co-sleeping. Katie Holmes let little Suri drink coffee at 5 years old.

There's so much focus on celeb moms like Beyonce, Mila Kunis, Jessica Alba, and Kylie Jenner, it can be all too easy to forget the dads. Sure, they get it easy. We don't see them huffing and puffing in labor, but it's not exactly their fault. Hollywood has an interesting mix of fathers. Dwayne Johnson, Will Smith, and Justin Timberlake are dads who are always involved with their kids. Some, like Khloe Kardashian's baby daddy come with the odd scandal. Others are barely seen with their kids.

Kanye and Scott both spend a lot of time with their kids– but they're doing it in very different ways. While one seems to let the kids rule, the other seems to come with the biggest rulebook there is. Looking at Scott vs. Kanye, here are 20 different ways these dads raise their kids.

20 SCOTT: "KIDS DON'T COME WITH A RULEBOOK"

Scott is now a dad of three. Despite his own experience of raising Mason, Penelope, and Reign, Scott channels a similar approach to Kourtney when it comes to being strict. When People asked Scott about the best advice he could dish out about becoming a father, Scott had a simple reply. "None."

"You gotta figure it out for yourself," Scott said. "Kids don't come with rulebooks. It's one of those things."

Scott himself has had to face a few rules, though. Scott might be a responsible father, but Kourtney has often frowned on his partying lifestyle. Kourt reportedly only allows Scott in the house under certain circumstances.

19 KANYE: ONE GIANT RULEBOOK

Kanye West is known for his controversial views– on just about everything. Kanye is also known for being a perfectionist. KUWTK fans will remember an episode where Kanye refused to appear on the show because neither the lighting nor the cameraman's angle suited him.

"Any situation you're in, you're going to worry about your kids," Kanye told Parents. That might be the reason that the KimYe household comes with what appears to be a giant rulebook. From limited screen time to select rooms that the children can play in, Kanye's parenting is 100% the opposite of Scott's.

18 SCOTT: "REALITY TV FOLLOWS OUR LIVES"

There's no denying that the Kardashian kids lead highly unusual lives. This isn't even about the staggeringly huge mansions they live in– North, Saint, and Chicago now live in a $20 million Bel Air mansion with their parents. Alongside Kim's kids, but featuring way more on the show, are Kourtney and Scott's kids.

"I think reality TV is just a part of our life and it follows our life," Scott said.

These kids are on virtually every episode of KUWTK. They are filmed eating. They are filmed running around. They are even filmed during bedtime. "It's just second nature at this point," Scott said.

17 KANYE: NAMES MUST BE "SHORT AND EASY TO SPELL"

Kanye is a man who has made words into a living. He weaves them, he rhymes them, and alongside music, they form his passion. Fans were already getting excited when Kim announced her first pregnancy– celeb baby names are, after all, a huge deal. North West (named after "the highest point") is joined by Saint and Chicago.

"Congratulations, welcome Chicago West" received 45,000 Twitter likes within minutes of being posted in 2018. Kim has revealed to The Ellen Show that baby naming with Kanye has its guidelines. "Short, easy to spell, one syllable," Kim told Ellen. Chicago does have more than one syllable, but otherwise, there's a format.

16 SCOTT: DOESN'T WANT MORE KIDS

In 2018, the internet exploded with rumors that Scott still wanted more kids with Kourtney. Scott is dating Sofia Richie. Kourtney seems to have a budding romance with Luka Sabbat following her split from Younes Bendjima. "I think he just wants one more, and she wants one more," Kim had said on a KUWTK trailer.

Scott cleared up the rumors. "No," he said. "It was more along the lines of her saying how boring Kourtney was and if she was doing anything right she would have another kid with you." Kourtney has said that she "isn't done" having kids. Scott stands firm, though.

15 KANYE WEST: "WANTS SEVEN CHILDREN"

The Kardashian clan just keeps growing. In 2018, Chicago West was born. So was Khloe Kardashian's baby, True. And Kylie Jenner's baby, Stormi. Fans watching KUWTK saw Kim say: "Kanye wants to have more, though. He's been harassing me." Kim concluded that the idea was "crazy, especially in like, the world we live in." Maybe they will, maybe they won't. We'll just have to see.

"He's wants like seven. He's, like, stuck on seven," Kim said in 2018.

14 SCOTT: FOOD IS GLUTEN-FREE AND DAIRY-FREE

Scott is frequently seen dining out at fancy restaurants, but his kids follow Kourtney's careful dietary guidelines. "I have noticed a great positive change in behavior with my children when we stick to a gluten- and dairy-free diet," Kourt wrote on her website.

"We swapped whole organic milk for fresh homemade almond milk." Lunch is gluten-free rice tortillas with carrots, celery, and hummus.

Gluten-free cupcakes and breakfast cereals are on the menu for these kids, although Kourt has admitted: "Of course, I do let the kids have popcorn at the movies and a churro at Disneyland." Otherwise, though, it's banana spinach shakes and gluten-free waffles.

13 KANYE RULE I: YOUR STYLE IS YEEZY

Kanye West already seems to have somewhat of a grip on Kim Kardashian's wardrobe. This Versace-loving style queen is now the promo queen of #YeezyDrops, although Kim mostly manages to pull it off. Following the overwhelming success of Yeezy sneakers, Kanye launched a full clothing line.

North West was already wearing custom Yeezy sneakers before she could walk. At 5 years old, North now wears Calabasas Yeezy athleisurewear, and her younger brothers join her. This adorable look from North saw her channel a gold chain that Kanye wears. While this may be an unspoken rule, it doesn't seem to be one that bothers the kids.

12 KANYE RULE II: YOU GET YOUR PHONE "WITH BREAKFAST"

With smartphones, tablets, and TVs in most homes, screens are now a part of daily life. Whether or not you want your child using devices freely– well, you're the parent.

In 2018, Kim attended Beautycon, where she spoke out about screen time. "I think, especially for kids in their minds– and they're so fragile and so young– that there has to be rules of maybe not sleeping with the phone right next to you." Kim and Kanye keep phones in the kitchen "so that when they wake up, they have breakfast with the family and then they get their phones."

11 KANYE RULE III: YOU DON'T WEAR PINK

Streamlined and pared-down is how Kanye likes his style. This rapper is also very specific about his colors, though. North is reportedly permitted to pick most of her outfits, but Kanye has his preferences.

"Kim had always loved wearing pink before meeting Kanye," an insider told Radar Online. "But he hates the color."

"Kanye thinks it's just cliché for women to wear pink. He doesn't want their daughter dressed in pink, ever," the report continued. It looks like North has found some wiggle room, though. In 2018, North wore bright pink Adidas with her mommy in NYC. Kanye has also stated that he "hates blue."

10 SCOTT: HALLOWEEN IS A FAMILY DEAL

Scott Disick may be a 35 year-old with a 20 year-old girlfriend, but he does manage to balance his romance with Sofia Richie alongside being a dad. Halloween is all about the family fun, and it's pretty impressive to see this "on-off" couple make a joint effort for their kids.

In 2017, Scott and Kourtney went full superhero for an Avengers-themed family Halloween. At 23 months, 4, and 6 years old, The Flash, Falcon, and Black Widow joined their parents (who dressed as Captain America and Spider-Man). "The kids really like it, so it makes me want to get into the spirit of it," Scott said.

9 BOTH DADS: GIVING BACK WITH CHARITY FUN

It's really nice to see that these families are raising their kids to learn the important things. Yes, the Kardashians are rich beyond belief. The surface might say: "Designer clothes and private jets," but both Scott and Kanye's kids get involved in a little giving back.

In 2017, Kim and Kourt both took their kids to the Los Angeles Food Bank to volunteer donating food to the needy. "Join them in the fight against hunger by donating," Kim tweeted. After driving through a deprived area of LA, Kim was so shaken by the reality of street poverty, she decided to do something about it. The kids joined in.

8 SCOTT: NOT FUSSED ABOUT KOURT'S PREGNANCY WARDROBE

Scott Disick has just launched his own clothing line, Talentless. While Scott is super into his designer brands and Gucci shirts, he was never one to influence a pregnancy wardrobe. Kourtney has rocked some of the most stylish bump wardrobes we've ever seen, and each of her 3 pregnancies has shown us a different look.

"I'm good at listening to what my body's telling me," Kourt told Fit Pregnancy when Reign was still a newborn. This appears to be a mentality that Kourt employed while she was expecting. If she wanted to dress up and look fancy, she did. If she wanted to wear loose-flowing dresses, nobody seemed to mind.

7 KANYE: COMPLETELY CHANGED KIM'S PREGNANCY WARDROBE

Kim underwent a fair bit of slamming during her pregnancies– nobody should be judged by what they wear, but being in the public eye can make this a reality. 2015 marked Kim's second pregnancy. Fans quickly noticed a distinct Yeezy style, and Kim herself credited Kanye for "changing everything."

"Kanye just knows how to translate [what's on the streets] into something that would look good on me. You should be studying this book," he said.

Kim recalled Kanye buying her a book by a former Vogue editor and telling her: "You should be, like, studying this book, this is, like, the fashion bible," The Daily Mail reported.

6 SCOTT: KIDS CAN SKIP SCHOOL FOR THE SHOW

Having reality cameras in our homes isn't something that we're likely to ever experience. For Scott and Kourtney's kids though, KUWTK is a job. It does seem fun, but you can't say that it's regular. In 2015, it was confirmed that the Disick children were being homeschooled to fit into the filming schedule.

"[Mason's] being homeschooled right now instead of being in kindergarten," an insider told Radar Online. "It has to be this way. He is shooting Season 11 of the show." Fame comes at a price. Even Kylie Jenner wasn't able to complete her education at a real school (although she has obtained a GED).

5 KANYE: DOESN'T WANT NANNIES VISIBLE ON THE SHOW

The Kardashian family comes with a touch of controversy when it comes to nannies. In 2018, Kim made headlines when The Metro reported that she was "[dining] at a separate table to North West and [the] nanny." With their busy schedules, Kim, Kanye, Kourtney, and Scott all have to rely on some help– it just wouldn't work, otherwise.

Radar Online reported that the household is a "well-oiled machine," adding: "Three nannies moving around the house, bringing the kids in for a quick Snapchat with mom, then whipping them away again if they start to cry or make a fuss." Having watched KUWTK, we kind of disagree. Kim seems super hands-on.

4 SCOTT: "YOU LEARN AS YOU GO"

When Rob Kardashian was expecting his baby with Blac Chyna, People asked Scott if he had any parenting advice for Rob. Admitting openly that his answer was "none," Scott showed the world that even a grown man has a lot to learn when becoming a father.

"There's no real advice you can give anybody, and if anybody says there is, they're lying. You learn as you go."

Even Kourtney admitted that first-time parenting was a learning curve. "I remember coming home from the hospital and having no idea what we were doing," she said. "Scott and I changed [Mason's] diaper, but after a day, it was like: "Oh! I got it!"

3 KANYE: "TEACH KIDS TO BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES"

Kanye might not seem like the most affectionate father, but he's got a whole lot of love for his kids. "So, so, so, so happy" is how he described himself to Parents. "I have a beautiful daughter and so many beautiful people around me... I have a son on the way."

In 2015, Kanye spoke about his kids at the MTV VMAs. "We not gonna teach low self-esteem and hate to our kids," Kanye said. "We gonna teach our kids that they can be something. We gonna teach our kids that they can stand up for theyself [sic]. We gonna teach our kids to believe in themselves." Here is Kanye with North.

2 SCOTT: CO-SLEEPING, PRIVATE JETS, NAP WHENEVER

It doesn't matter whether your parents are Scott and Kourtney or Kim and Kanye– life as a Kardashian kid comes with a #Luxury. Scott and Kourt frequently travel for work or pleasure. It's definitely fun for the kids, and yes, they're traveling by private jet.

Nap on the plane they might, but Scott's kids grew up with a form of parenting that is unique. "When I had Mason, co-sleeping just kind of happened naturally," Kourtney said. "It's what worked for all of us to get the most sleep, so I quickly embraced it." Kourtney also used the DockATot, which she said gave her "peace of mind."

1 KANYE: LOTS OF STUDIO TIME, POWER NAPS

Kanye is always traveling. If it isn't for his music tours, it's for his Yeezy line or producer meetings. Okay, so this pic of Kanye napping with North in the background is amusing, but a traveling dad does need his rest. Kim's kids don't nap whenever they want.

"I really strict on nap time, and sleeping in her own crib," Kim said. "I am a strict mother."

"Like, Kourtney's style is where her kids sleep in her bed with her," Kim said about Kourtney's style. "I'm really fun and playful," Kim added, saying that "maybe on weekends, [North will] come and sleep in the bed with us."
