According to the PEOPLE, Kellan and Brittany wedded in 2017 and they announced in November last year that they were expecting their first child. However, the couple suffered a miscarriage in February this year. Brittany took to her Instagram account to share a touching farewell message to her stillborn daughter. She told her that she was honoured to be her mom for six months and she enjoyed her little kicks as well as seeing her little face during ultrasounds. She said that she tried her best and she didn't know what happened.

Brittany continues to say that she found peace in knowing that her baby girl didn't experience any pain or heartache and she never would. She added that she knows that her girl is in heaven in the arms of Jesus and they would meet one day but until then, she loves her so much. A few days later after this post, Brittany revealed that she was optimistic that she would have a family one day with Kellan. She said in an Instagram post that although the loss was heavy, she was still hopeful and excited for the future.

In March, Kellan posted on Instagram that they were ready to try again for a baby. Kellan shared some lovely messages that they had received from friends during their hard season and he expresses his gratitude for everybody who reached out to them during their low moments. He also thanked his wife for being strong throughout the mourning process and he quoted the bible verse that says there is time for everything. He said that they had had their season for mourning and now they were ready to dance!
