Baby Shark is the animation that's taking over the world, one annoying riff at a time. First, it was the song that became a viral trend that we just couldn't shake. Then came the Netflix TV show, and the live stage show that was announced earlier this year. Creators are riding this cash cow all the way to the bank. If that wasn't enough, Kellogg's has just revealed plans to drop a Baby Shark cereal this August, according to Spectrum News 13. The cereal is just as colorful as you would expect.

The limited-edition breakfast snack will be a mix of berry-flavored loops and shark-shaped marshmallows, ensuring your kids will be bouncing off the walls before 9 am. The real lure for children comes in the shape of a Baby Shark box that will come with the names of the various characters. The bright blue background and bold coloring will surely stand out on the shelves, so your little ones can spot it from a million miles away in the supermarket. Kellogg's marketing director Erin Storm said the cereal giant hoped that this new product would "expand on the joy families feel in a tasty way."

Baby Shark isn't the first TV show to capitalize on the breakfast market, and it won't be the last. In fact, shows have often released their own cereals or partnered with other brands as a clever marketing tool. Not only do kids love it, but parents are more inclined to buy it if their children specifically request it. After all, consumers love novelties. As it stands, Honey Nut Cheerios is the number one bestselling cereal in the US. Could Baby Shark's version of milk-soaked goodness knock them out of the top spot temporarily? Given the ongoing popularity of the characters, it wouldn't be a surprise.

The product will be available in August at Walmart and Sam's Club. Tickets for the Baby Shark nationwide tour are already on sale, in case you haven't quite reached your limit on the underwater family yet. You can catch the "one of a kind live experience" at numerous venues this fall.

What a time to be alive.
