Kendall Jenner is currently the only Kardashian-Jenner sister without any kids. But it may not be like that for much longer as the model admits she currently has ‘baby fever.’
Kendall’s younger sister Kylie Jenner recently posted a series of photos of her 1-year old daughter Stormi after a trip to the park. Many of Kylie’s celebrity friends couldn’t help but comment about how adorable the toddler is, including her sister. Kendall couldn’t help but admit that the cute photos were making her think of starting her own family.
“My baby fever after this is on overload,” Kendall commented underneath the photo, which got a lot of attention from excited fans. Another famous friend, Hailey Baldwin (aka. Mrs. Justin Bieber), also said a similar thing. Please stop giving me the most baby fever … she’s the sweetest,” she wrote.
We love the idea of Kendall having her own mini-me, and even though seeing her niece is putting babies on her brain, don’t expect the reality star to start a family any time soon. As much as she loves kids, the Victoria’s Secret model has maintained that she’s okay waiting and has no plans to become a young mom, unlike Kylie.
Last year, during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres, the host pointed out that Kendall remains the only childless sibling in her family. “You’re the only one. Does that make you, when you see that everybody’s got babies, does that make you want one or realize, ‘No, I don’t?'” Ellen asked.
Kendall responded by saying, “No, I mean, I have moments where I’m like, ‘Do I have baby fever? Like, do I want a baby right now?'” She added, “But I don’t. I don’t. But I’m good. I can wait for a little while longer.”
Kendall is currently dating NBA player Ben Simmons. The couple are notoriously private about their romance and it’s unclear how long they’ve been together. Speaking to Vogue earlier this year, the star said she’s definitely open to the possibility of marriage with her beau, but it doesn’t sound like they’re in any rush.
“Maybe. Definitely not now, but maybe one day,” she told the publication. “I got a glimpse of how my sisters dealt with [the attention] and it’s cool to learn from that.”
She continued, “I’m very young and right now I feel like relationships aren’t always super-certain and I don’t want to bring too much attention to something if you don’t really know long term [what it’s going to be].”
So, while we doubt we’ll hear a pregnancy announcement from Kendall anytime soon, it definitely sounds like she’ll have a family one day in the future.
