Kenya Moore, who announced her split from husband Marc Daly last week, is reportedly ‘heartbroken’ but taking comfort in her baby daughter Brooklyn Doris Daly.

On Thursday afternoon, Moore posted a sweet video of her 10-month-old daughter on the baby’s Instagram page @TheBrooklynDaly. The clip shows baby Brooklyn playing with drums and smiling. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star can be heard in the background giggling, as her daughter smiles along to “Row Row Row Your Boat” in what appears to be an activity class. The post, which reads “Future musician #babybrooklyn,” already has over 100,000 views.

Many fans took the opportunity to express how upset they were at Moore and Daly’s recent separation. “I’m heartbroken your parents are splitting,” one fan commented. “May God watch you always 💕” While another added, “She is just so cute 🍪😍I hope y’all work it out for your family.”

Moore, 48, and Daly, 49, announced their separation on Friday. The news comes just days after they appeared on The Tamron Hall show with their daughter. In the interview with Hall, Daly referred to Moore as “the love of my life.” The reason for their divorce seems to stem from an incident that took place at a gala hosted by Daly. According to sources, an explosive fight broke out between the couple.

“Kenya Moore lashed out at her husband Marc Daly at the Wimbish House on Tuesday night at the charity event for Black Man Lab that Marc was hosting,” the source told the Atlanta Black Star Thursday. “She was aggressive and in his face and threatened to physically assault him and destroy his reputation.”

Both Moore and Daly released separate statements regarding the divorce but neither has made any further comments. The couple tied the knot in a ceremony in June 2017 on a St. Lucia beach in the Caribbean and their daughter was born last November.

Moore, who underwent a long IVF process before getting pregnant, was ecstatic when Brooklyn was born. Daly, who participated in the painful delivery, stood by his wife as doctors cut her horizontally and vertically to prevent fibroids that could have caused her to bleed out. The operation, which usually takes 30 minutes, lasted over three hours.

“He was really strong and just amazing in the operation room,” Moore said. “Marc was having a hard time in the waiting room because he’s one of those guys who can’t stand the sight of blood, so he didn’t want to see the baby come out because he just knew he would faint.”

Apparently, none of Moore’s RHOA co-stars were aware that the couple was having problems. According to sources, her castmates, who were reportedly quite fond of Daly, found out through the media. Moore, known for being quite reserved about her private life, is set to appear on the next season of the show.
