Kevin McKidd of Grey’s Anatomy admits to feeling more relaxed now as a father of four. The actor made the revelation when he opened up to People about life as a dad to two young kids during the 30th annual Chris Evert Pro-Celebrity Tennis Classic in Florida.

McKidd and his wife, Arielle Goldrath, share an 18-month-old son, Aiden, and recently added to their family with the birth of their daughter, Nava James, in July. Kevin also has a 17-year-old daughter, Iona, and Joseph, a 19-year-old, from his previous marriage. The regular Grey's Anatomy star took Aiden and Nava to attend the classic tennis event at Boca Raton Resort and Club, along with his parents, who came from Scotland to meet the new arrival. He said that he enjoyed having Nava with him at the event and loved seeing her expressions that showed wonder and joy at the sights of South Florida.

People revealed that McKidd described the newborn as being happy, all smiles, content, and sleeping well. He also explained that he and Goldrath share the parenting work and take turns taking care of their infant daughter. Kevin further added about appreciating the parenting process more with the two young kids compared to before when raising his other two older children. He shared with People that, back then, the situation was stressful for him, but it is better now as he is more relaxed now.

The 44-year-old star announced the birth of his daughter with a post on his Instagram account of a photo showing Arielle and Nava, with a caption their family's happiness and blessing at the arrival of the 'little baboo.' He wrote that Aiden quickly became a brilliant big brother and noted the older Iona and Joseph as the ideal guiding lights to the new souls. McKidd also added his appreciation and love for his wife by saluting her as a warrior after witnessing her wisdom and natural mothering strength.

Kevin, who plays Owen Hunt on the hit show, is a proud dad of four and excited as his journey into fatherhood continues. The happy dad previously told People that Aiden learned a few skills and phrases, including how to say 'I love you.' People need to learn how to utter those precious words to their loved ones because, as McKidd noted, they do not say them enough.
