Khloe Kardashian has revealed why she didn’t baptize her daughter, True, with Kim and Kourtney’s kids in Armenia. The family took a trip abroad to have their children baptized, and the moms documented the special moment on their respective Instagram pages. Khloe, however, opted out, and now we know why.

Kourtney and Kim took their families to Vagharshapat, Armenia to get them baptized at the Etchmiadzin Cathedral in early October. Faith plays a very important role in their lives, so they wanted the baptism to be special. Kourtney’s kids (Mason, Penelope, and Reign) with ex-boyfriend, Scot Disick, were all there. Kim and her husband, Kanye West, had their three youngest (Saint, Chicago, and Psalm) baptized as well.

Khloe was missing from the photos, so people wanted to know what’s up. On “The Real,” the reality star explained that she didn’t want to go through with it because she believes her daughter is too young. True was only born last year, so Khloe feels that the baby girl is too young to understand what’s going on and to appreciate the ritual. She definitely wants to have her baptized; the mom is just waiting for the right time and place.

The famous family is pretty open about their religious beliefs, and Khloe is no stranger to this fact. In 2016, she explained to the press why she questions her faith. After her father, Robert Kardashian, passed away in 2003, she became bitter and angry with God. Khloe didn’t understand why such a great person would be taken away from her, especially since her father was such a believer in his faith.

After some time, Khloe was finally able to be at peace with herself and her father’s passing. She admitted that she was young and was just looking for someone to blame for the situation. As she began to process her father’s life, her stance on religion changed. She reconnected with her spirituality after this experience, and the rekindling of her faith was intensified by stories she has read about near-death experiences and the afterlife. It may not be the right time, but Khloe will for sure teach her daughter the ways of her faith.
