Khloe Kardashian reveals she is both breastfeeding and using formula to feed her baby girl!
The new mom is letting her fans in on how she’s handling motherhood and her practices surrounding feeding. Khloe, who recently gave birth this past April with boyfriend Tristan Thompson, has been sharing any moment she can with her now two-month-old baby girl, True Thompson. She’s even sharing how she’s chosen to breastfeed.
Although many might think it’s nobody’s business, and of course, it really isn’t, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star decided to end any speculation regarding her methods of feeding and set the record straight. She recently shared the many challenges that come with motherhood and feeding a newborn. Khloe took to her app to share certain updates on how she has been feeding True, and mentioned how: “Because I don’t produce enough milk, I also have to give a bottle with every feeding”.

Although this may sound exhausting, Khloe has got some handy help. The star uses a particular machine that creates the formula for her, so she does not have to make it herself during the feeding process. “With the formula I use, I have to give True the bottle within 30 minutes of making it, so it’s amazing to have this machine make it for me”, Khloe said.
The star proclaimed how she has been quite tired, especially at night, so having the machine make the mix for her, is a “total life-saver”. Many fans were stunned to see Khloe be so open about challenges she has faced and were unaware that the star was unable to produce adequate amounts of breast milk. This issue, however, is quite common.
According to Self, there are many reasons why women may not be able to produce enough breast milk, including waiting too long to start breastfeeding, not breastfeeding often enough or suffering from certain medical conditions. Luckily for Khloe and anyone else in the same boat, there are plenty of ways to boost the production of milk.
The American Academy of Paediatrics even suggests mixing both feeding methods if need be, which is exactly what Khloe is doing. We’re glad the star has been so candid regarding her journey through motherhood, and send her nothing but love!
