Khloe Kardashian recently opened up about her co-parenting relationship with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson. According to her, she says he’s allowed to see their daughter whenever. The only problem is whether he follows through with that or not.

Many fans have wondered how the parents to 14-month old True are doing following Tristan’s cheating scandal with family friend Jordyn Woods, which resulted in Khloe calling things off with him for good. Previously, days before their daughter was born, footage of Tristan getting cozy with other women was released by the media, clearly putting the then-couple on the rocks.

However, despite all of the drama, Khloe recently said that she and Tristan have been able to co-parenting successfully. Well, kind of. “I think Tristan and I broke up, like, five months ago, so it’s still sometimes awkward, but I think we’re both doing a really good job,” the mom-of-one shared with Us Weekly. “I mean, whenever he wants to see her, he can.”

Judging from Khloe’s comments, it doesn’t appear the parents have worked out a formal custody arrangement for the toddle. This doesn’t come as a surprise, as only weeks ago sources claimed that Tristan was largely absent from True’s life.

Last month, a source told Hollywood Life that Tristan’s ex-girlfriend, Jordan Craig, with whom he shares 2-year old son Prince, wasn’t surprised that the NBA star payed little attention to either of his kids. “Jordan gets very frustrated when on social media Tristan tries to look so involved when he’s not,” the insider explained. “It’s really sad, so she isn’t at all surprised to see Khloe struggle with Tristan’s involvement with True. Jordan has no ill will or feelings for Khloe whatsoever.”

Even before that, in March, sources were saying that Khloe was getting frustrated over her ex’s lack of involvement in True’s life. But also that she was going to stop pushing for him to be involved. “Khloé is getting extremely upset with Tristan because he isn’t really making any effort to be involved in their daughter True’s life,” a source told Us Weekly.

Even more telling, a different source added, “Tristan isn’t too worried about not seeing True, or Khloé establishing new rules when it comes to co-parenting,” they explained. “He honestly doesn’t really care and was over it. He was never trying to win Khloé back.”

Based on Khloe’s most recent comments, it seems like she doesn’t have any problem if her ex wants to be more involved. She seems to have left the door wide open to him to make the first move. As such, it also seems like they haven’t had a need for a custody arrangement since Tristan isn’t pressing for one.
