When it comes to passing out parenting advice, anyone who has ever been a parent, or even has not, seems to have some nugget of wisdom to give. And while Kieran Culkin did not supply his parenting advice unsolicited, when asked if he had any advice to pass along to his brother, Macaulay Culkin, the actor gave the best parenting advice any parent could hope to receive.

On Tuesday while at the red-carpet season premiere for Kieran's wildly successful HBO show, Succession, Access Hollywood spoke with the father-of-two about being an uncle to Macaulay's baby, who was born earlier this year.

"I'm a little bit ahead on the dad thing," the Igby Goes Down star said referencing that he and his wife, Jazz Charton are parents to a "two-year-old daughter and an eight-week-old son."

Kieran went on to say that he has yet to meet the Home Alone actor's baby boy, Dakota, who is 7 months; because Macaulay and his wife, Brenda Song "live in California and there’s been work and a pandemic and all that stuff.”

However, when asked what parenting advice he would pass along to his older brother, the Emmy Award nominee recalled the best advice he had ever received and thought it was fitting for Macaulay as well.

"The best advice that someone gave me when I became a new parent was don't take anyone's advice, you'll figure it out," Kieran answered simply.

While news of Macaulay's son being born made headlines back in April when it was confirmed with Esquire that he and Brenda had expanded their family, Kieran and Jazz quietly welcomed their baby boy several months later in August, according to Us Weekly. And for the actor who does not enjoy being in the public eye, this was the perfect way for his son, to have been born.

According to People, it was not until Jazz shared a trio of pictures of the little one, captioning the photos, "One month with our perfect little man 8.17.21," that anyone was any wiser of the addition to the family.

The baby boy, who currently goes by "Tito" until an official name can be chosen, according to The Hollywood Reporter, did not have his face shown in any of the photos. However, given that daughter, Kinsey has also had her face obscured since she was born, it does not come as a surprise that "Tito" would not have his face shown either.

The couple who met nearly 15 years ago, and has been married since 2013, still live in the one-bedroom apartment that Kieran has owned for two decades, according to the publication. But with having both a toddler and a baby under the roof, the couple has decided to move to a more spacious abode outside of Manhattan so that everyone has a bit more room of which to call their own.

While there have yet to be any playdates amongst cousins, hopefully, that day will not be too far off to allow the newest members of the Culkin family the opportunity to get to know one another and be as close as Kieran, Macaulay, and the rest of their siblings are.
