If the chilly winter weather outside has you feeling down, then take a look at American Idol alum Kimberly Caldwell’s recent baby shower and you’ll be taken away to a dreamy, sunny, and boho-chic celebration. Just before Thanksgiving, Caldwell, her husband professional soccer player Jordan Harvey, and their four-year-old daughter Harlow Monroe, threw a beautiful harvest-inspired shower for their upcoming baby girl Houston Mae in their California home.

Both the food and the decorations were exquisite, and the proof is in the pictures. Guests at the party enjoyed delicious food from Lemonade including, “Mexican street corn, curried cauliflower, snap pea edamame salad and more.” From People’s exclusive pictures we can see a pomegranate, raspberries, breadsticks, and a meat and cheese spread. There were also cupcakes, sugar cookies decorated with dream catchers, and a naked cake with eucalyptus. Commenting about the party Caldwell said, “I’ve already cried three times. I never had a shower for my first baby so this is making me feel extra special.”

A representative at the shower told People, “The table was set with intentions of gratitude and happiness with beautiful fall and harvest tones”. Boxes filled with flowers and wheat in vases adorned a long table covered with a woven table cloth. Behind the table was a rose gold, orange, and white balloon arch. Caldwell wore a long-sleeved white lace dress, and her daughter wore a pink tulle dress with a pink bow headband. Everything was picture perfect.

Something extra special the family did at the party for baby Houston was hire a calligrapher who “painted well wishes...on a pretty canvas made to look like Houston’s initials.” It’s safe to assume that more of these canvasses will be showing up at future baby showers because the idea is so sweet!

Earlier this year in August, Caldwell and her family had a fiesta-inspired gender reveal party, including street tacos, guacamole, and a piñata. The reveal wasn’t in the piñata, but in a scavenger hunt they did for Harlow. At the end, she found a pink stroller that revealed the baby is a girl. The little darling is expected to make her appearance February of 2020 and we can’t wait to see her!
