It’s another girl for Kobe Bryant after his wife Vanessa welcomed the couple’s fourth daughter! The family announced their good news on social media last Friday as well as revealed the little one’s unique name.

"Our baby girl is here," Vanessa captioned a post alongside a photo their daughter’s name stitched into what appeared to be a baby blanket. The little one was given the unique moniker Capri Kobe Bryant, although it appears her parents will be calling her ‘Koko’ for short. Vanessa added, "So thankful for our newest baby blessing. 6/20/19." Kobe shared the same photo as his wife on Instagram, writing, "We are beyond excited that our baby girl Koko has arrived."

Vanessa announced her pregnancy New Year’s Day, writing that her daughters were excited to have another sister. "Kobe and I are so happy to add another baby blessing to our family! Bianka will have a new baby sibling to play with and Natalia and Gianna are super excited to welcome another little baby sister to love,” the 37-year old wrote.

Vanessa and Kobe have been together for 20 years. They originally met when she was 17-years old and working as a back-up dancer, while he was 21 (at the time, Kobe was working on his musical career). The couple became engaged in only 6 months, despite Vanessa still being in high school. They eventually tied the knot in 2001, despite Kobe’s parents reportedly being against the union.

The long-time couple’s first child, Natalia Diamante, was born in 2003, while their second daughter, Gianna, was born in 2006. In 2011, Vanessa filed for divorce and the couple remained estranged for several years. However, in 2013, the pair announced via social media they had reconciled and called off their divorce. They welcomed their third girl, Bianka, in 2016.

Despite many fans wondering if Kobe was hoping for a boy, the athlete has only had positive things to say about being a father of girls. “I think Vanessa wants a boy more than I do,” Kobe said in April of 2017, shortly after welcoming daughter no. 3, People reports. “I hear boys are just walking tornadoes. We’ll see,” he said.

“My friends say, ‘It takes a real man to make a boy,’” Kobe continued. “I’m like, ‘Dude, it takes a king to make a princess … get in line.’” He added. “It’s pretty cool for me ’cause it’s Daddy’s little princesses.”
