Kylie Jenner, who just welcomed newborn Stormi Webster on Feb. 1, 2018, may have just orchestrated one of Hollywood’s best-kept secrets. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star kept her pregnancy in the dark for nine months before publicly announcing the birth of her daughter.
Kylie, who is currently dating boyfriend and father of Stormi, Travis Scott, shared the news view Twitter saying: “I’m sorry for keeping you in the dark through all the assumptions. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress-free and healthy way I knew how.” And we don’t blame her!
Although Kylie and any other members of the Kardashian Jenner family never confirmed the pregnancy, that didn’t stop anyone from speculating. Now that the cat is out of the bag, or bun is out of the oven we should say, momager Kris Jenner is revealing just how she and the rest of the family managed to keep the pregnancy on the down-low.
Kris explained to E! News at the grand opening of Nassif MD Medical Spa, that she was sworn to secrecy. “You just have to go with the flow,” she said. “The family pact is don’t say a word, so my lips were sealed,” Kris told E!
Over the course of the past 10 months, sisters Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, Kendall, and mom Kris played coy on the topic without confirming or denying the rumors whenever they were asked about it. While Kylie’s immediate family knew she was expecting, so did close friends, as well. Kyle Richards, Faye Resnick, and even Jennifer Lawrence, have all admitted to knowing Kylie was pregnant before the public did.
On Watch What Happens Live with host Andy Cohen, Kyle Richards revealed she knew Kylie was pregnant and was asked if others who knew had to sign a confidentiality agreement. The star told Andy Cohen,“Friends just don’t do that kind of thing. And obviously, as their friend, it’s just a given. Don’t talk about those things.”
One person in particular who didn't actually know about Kylie's pregnancy was her half-brother Brody Jenner. Brody claims he didn't know about her pregnancy until she revealed it on social media. Oops! Guess Kylie forgot to let him know. The former Hills star told Fox News he hadn't hung out with the youngest Jenner in "a few years," but would still like to "meet her baby."
While many people did know and others didn't, it seems as if they were all on the same page about knowing to keep their lips sealed. Leave it to the Kardashians to pull something like this off!
