Kylie Jenner has revealed her baby daughter’s name in a new simple Instagram post.
The newest addition to the Kardashian/Jenner clan has a name just as cool and unusual as all of her famous cousins. Jenner has named her daughter Stormi Webster. She shared the news with a sweet photo of her baby’s finger and a caption of the name.
Jenner announcing her new daughter’s name has now become the most liked Instagram post ever. According to Variety, the new mom’s post has over 13 millions likes and is still growing. Previous record holders were Beyonce’s February 2017 post displaying her pregnant belly with 11.2 million likes, and Cristiano Ronaldo’s picture of his girlfriend and fourth child with 11.3 million likes. Even her big sister Kim has never gotten the amount of likes for one post as the LipKit mogul.
People magazine reported last week that Jenner already had a name picked out for her first child. However, don’t expect to hear any explanation behind the unusual name. Since the reality star kept her entire pregnancy a secret, it is highly unlikely she will offer a reason behind her child’s name, at least for now. She may very well share how she chose the name later, as she did with her pregnancy.
Although the explanation behind her first name remains a mystery, the baby’s last name does not. As fans noticed the little girl does not have the last name Jenner or Scott. Her last name is Webster, which is the legal last name of Travis Scott. His real name is actually Jacques Webster, but he chose his stage name in honor of a close relative.
It has been almost two weeks since Stormi was born, and fans have not seen a picture of her. Reports surfaced recently that Jenner and Scott would not sell photos of their child, which means she will likely make her debut on Keeping Up With The Kardashians or on Instagram. Maybe there will be a joint baby debut with Khloe Kardashian’s baby boy.
Stormi Webster is the name Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott gave their baby girl. What do you think about the moniker the Life of Kylie star gave her first-born?
