Former reality star, Larsa Pippen, 44, opened up about co-parenting with her ex-husband Scottie Pippen. She filed for divorce after 21 years of marriage over a year ago.
The couple had ups and downs in the recent years. In an interview with US Weekly, the Real Housewives of Miami alum explained that both she and her husband worked hard to save their marriage but fortune didn’t favor them. That’s why finally they are now legally separating. Larsa shares four children with former professional basketball player, Scottie Pippen. They are Scotty Jr., 19, Preston, 17, Justin, 14, and Sophia, 11.
While promoting Levi’s Haus Miami in the Wynwood Arts District, a pop-up offering premium products, she told Us Weekly exclusively that although their married life was not successful, they would always be best friends. Both of them have had good memories. Both of them have mutual consent to live separate lives. She also said that their children have been their main priority. During this sensitive time, she has also asked for more privacy for their family.
Larsa Pippen and Scottie tied their knot in July 1997. Scottie also has a son, Antron, 32, with his ex-wife Karen McCollum, daughter Taylor, 25, whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend Sonya Roby, and daughter Sierra, 24, with ex-fiancée Yvette Deleone.
According to US Weekly, on Friday, November 2, Larsa filed in Los Angeles court and cited “conflicting differences” in court documents. She appealed not only for spousal support but also joint and legal custody of her four children. Scottie originally filed for divorce from Larsa in October 2016, but they withdrew the case in November 2017. But that could not put them together. They are currently separated and are living their own lives now. But they are still close when it comes to their kids.
According to some sources, Larsa had been disloyal to Scottie, which led to their split. But a source close to Larsa claims that she and the rapper, 34, were just friends.
