In a move to turn the tables on the process of in vitro fertilization, Lauren Scruggs has decided that she is going to remain nothing but positive about the IVF process for one simple reason - the opportunity to expand her family with her husband, Jason Kennedy.

Since starting her IVF journey, the lifestyle blogger has not been one to shy away from speaking about it candidly. And while she has always had a positive attitude about the highs and lows that have come with it, Scruggs has a renewed sense of positivity about IVF with getting her body prepared for implantation.

Speaking exclusively with People, Scruggs said that she truly believes that having the opportunity to go through the process of IVF is a "blessing." And that belief has made her commit to the process one-hundred percent.

"I'm committed to this journey, and it's a blessing, no matter what, because this could result in something so incredible," the Still Lolo author said.

"It's such an amazing method of enhancing your fertility and having a sweet baby come into the world," Scruggs stated.

That positive state of mind is not something that is a front either. Scruggs is genuinely "grateful" that IVF is an option for her. And by "flipping the script" and "embracing" the process, the blogger is mentally prepared for the next step of the journey that awaits her.

While she did not provide any specifics to the publication, Scruggs said that she and Kennedy will be transferring embryos for implantation "sometime soon."

What makes this process even more special is that Scruggs is an "IVF twin," according to People.

Though there was more of a stigma attached to IVF decades ago when Scrugg's parents decided to take the journey themselves, according to the author, they never shied away from talking about it. Because of this, Scruggs has never felt that she should be anything but open with talking about the journey she and Kennedy have been on.

Initially, Scruggs was not sure she wanted to undergo IVF.

On March 10, Scruggs posted to Instagram that she struggled with whether or not to begin the journey of IVF because "holistic routes" were what she had always chosen to heal her body. However, after "much prayer" she concluded that IVF was the "clear next step" and she has not looked back since.

What is unique about Scruggs and Kennedy's experience is the fact that having a baby is not something that completes the couple.

According to Us Weekly, the couple spoke with Katherine Schwarzenegger in January and spoke about the highs and lows that come with IVF.

Scruggs said that she and Kennedy had "always wanted kids." However, because their lives were already filled with "so much joy," they were not being "super obsessive" about the process.

And while a baby would only "add more joy" to their lives, the couple is firm believers that everything happens for a reason, saying "there is a plan in place for us and when we’re supposed to have a baby, it’ll happen."
