LeapFrog has released three new interactive toys to help toddlers learn while still having fun. The new toys are a great idea if you are getting started on Christmas shopping or if you need something to keep your child busy while you work from home. The interactive toys help children learn with one of them even offering Spanish.

Andy Keimach, president of Vtech Electronics North America, which is the parent company of LeapFrog, says the new collection of toys will enrich development but also makes learning fun. The first new toy released by LeapFrog is the Speak & Learn Puppy, according to Penn Live. The puppy, who has been named Bailey, will teach children their ABCs, how to count, emotions, and even language development. Bailey’s head moves, along with its flapping ears, and has real-time responses. Children can interact with Bailey through the talk-back feature and create stories from whatever the child says. Bailey has several songs that encourage learning and three learning levels. As your child progresses, they can move up a level. Children 12 months and older can play with Bailey, which costs $29.99.

The second toy released is a bilingual book that helps children brush up on their animals. The 100 Animals Book comes in English and Spanish and features 100 animals on six double-sided pages. The pages of the book are touch-sensitive and interactive, showing off animals from different habitats and environments. Some of the animals live in the desert, savanna, rain forest, and other places. Toddlers can explore the animals through illustrations and photos of the animals. There are three modes to the book, animal names, animal sounds, and fun facts. You can even switch the language to English or Spanish. The book costs $17.99 and is for children 18 months and older. Or, if you want to encourage your child to use their motor skills, LeapFrog also released the Pick Up & Count Vacuum. There are three modes to the toy that helps children learn their colors and how to count. Children will vacuum over pretend dust pieces which the vacuum then recognizes and helps children learn their colors and numbers. The smart vacuum sells for $27.99 and is meant for children ages 2 and older.

Keimach says it is important to make sure learning is fun for children. One of the toys is sure to be a hit with your child, all while helping them learn along the way.
