Reality TV star and makeup mogul Lilly Ghalichi has welcomed her first child with husband Dara Mir. The 35-year-old shared her happy news with her 3 million Instagram followers after the safe delivery of her newborn daughter on Sunday, September 30th. Ghalichi looked stunning in the post-delivery series of snaps and was quick to point out that her eyelashes were from her own personal collection, Lilly Lashes.
Ghalichi came to prominence when she joined the cast of Bravo's Shahs of Sunset for the 2nd and 3rd seasons. The show proved popular and continued to be successful after Ghalichi's departure, with Bravo renewing the series for a seventh season earlier this year. The talented businesswoman now owns several fashion and lifestyle brands such as Lilly Lashes, Lilly Hair, WantMyLook and GhaliciGlam, but makeup wasn't her first love. The Houston born beauty initially graduated from the Red McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin, receiving a Bachelor's Degree in Business. Following on from this, she went on to earn her law degree from Loyola Law School.
Lilly married her husband Dara in May of 2017 at the Beverly Hilton hotel in LA. As you can expect, the ceremony was beautifully styled and full of gorgeous pink hues. The couple announced their pregnancy soon after - but the road to happiness wasn't always paved with gold for Ghalichi. Prior to meeting her night in shining armor, she was in a 10-year on-off relationship with a Houston-based lawyer named Ali. The ups and downs of the relationship were discussed on the show, with the self-proclaimed "Persian Barbie" describing it as toxic. Despite an engagement, the pair went their separate ways after cheating allegations surfaced.
Given her turbulent relationship history, we're glad that his particular Shah has found her Romeo at last! The couple named their daughter Alara, a Turkish name that means "one who brings brightness and happiness to the soul, to the heart." Congratulations to this adorable and growing family, and we wish these new parents the best of luck with their darling little girl.
