Jess Shears and Dom Lever met on Love Island 2017. Love Island is very similar to the popular television show Bachelor in Paradise. Bachelor in Paradise did so well that it came as no surprise that other people wanted to copy-cat the premise and create their own show. Love Island is built around the premise that "lively singles" come to a Villa on an island. The singles live in a luxury residence where they are expected to find love in order to stay on the island. Shears and Lever were one of the success stories.

Shears and Lever left the show and continued dating each other. They fell more in love and they got married in a very quiet and low-key setting in Mykonos, Greece six months ago where they only invited 22 guests. The couple said that they wanted to go abroad because they didn't want to have to invite "everybody." Shears and Lever just wanted to have people come to their wedding who meant the most to them! None of their other Love Island co-stars were invited, but they decided they were going to have a big party to celebrate with those who weren't able to attend.
Recently the couple had some really exciting news that they shared on their Instagrams! They are expecting their first baby! Jess captioned her Instagram with "the best is yet to come" and Dom shared the same picture with the caption "living the dream." The couple seems to be very excited to bring the little one into this world.
It is way too early to tell the gender, but I don't think the couple cares. They are probably just hoping for a healthy and happy little one. We hope that the couple continues to grow stronger and that Jess has a healthy pregnancy! We are excited to watch her bump grow and to see tons of pictures of the little one when she delivers.
