Meghan Markle shocked everyone with her surprise appearance at Wimbledon on Thursday, and eagle-eyed spectators were quick to notice the Duchess' adorable necklace. Meghan was casually dressed in jeans, a black top and a white striped blazer which she accessorized with black sunglasses and a white Panama hat. What caught the attention of many was, however, her adorable gold necklace with the letter 'A' for Archie, in the dainty design the Duchess has been known to prefer for her jewelry. Meghan showed up at All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London in the company of her two close friends Lyndsay Roth and Genevieve Hillis, and the trio were seen enjoying themselves in the Royal Box on center court.

Both women have been among the names rumored for Baby Archie's godparents, although Meghan and Prince Harry have decided not to reveal the identity of their son's godparents. Archie's christening is reportedly taking place this Saturday, July 6, so Meghan was probably happy to enjoy a stressfree outing with her close friends. As surprising the unannounced appearance at Wimbledon was, it makes sense that the Duchess of Sussex did not want to miss out on her good friend Serena Williams play, and win, her second-round match against Kajsa Juvan.

As reported by The Independent, Meghan's necklace received a tremendous amount of praise on Instagram, where the account @harryluvsmeghan, a fan account of the 'Duke & Duchess of Sussex Fam', shared a photo. Meghan, who is known for her love for delicate pieces of jewelry, has reportedly gotten her adorable 'Archie' necklace from the jeweler Jennifer Meyer, based in Los Angeles. As with many things worn by the Duchess of Sussex, this necklace is predicted to start a trend.
