It appears as though Meghan Markle’s estranged family just hasn’t gotten the hint that she wants nothing to do with them. Yet, that hasn’t stopped the Duchess of Sussex’s half-brother and half-sister from making disparaging remarks about her in the media. This time around it’s Meghan’s brother, Thomas Markle Jr. who is now publicly urging Queen Elizabeth to help put an end to their family’s ongoing feud.
According to Fox News, Thomas Markle Jr. is so desperate to get back into the good graces of his royal sister that he wants the leader of the British monarchy to talk to the Duchess on his behalf. It’s long been reported that the former Hollywood actress cut ties with both Thomas Markle and her half-sister Samantha Markle well before she began dating Prince Harry in 2016.

This evening, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex attended #TheLionKing European premiere in London at the Odeon Theatre. In celebration of the film’s release, The Walt Disney Company announced #ProtectThePride, a global conservation campaign to support efforts protecting the rapidly diminishing lion population across Africa. As a part of their commitment to this cause, Disney also made a donation to The Duke of Sussex’s upcoming environment & community initiative which will be formally announced this autumn. The Duke and Duchess are committed to advancing conservation efforts across Africa and around the world, and working with communities to ensure a sustainable future for the planet. Thomas Markle Jr. made his remarks during an interview with the British publication The Mirror. The 53-year-old is pleading with his famous sister to finally allow him and the rest of the family to not only meet Prince Harry, but also their two-month-old son, Archie Harrison.
“Now you’re a mother, I hope you’re grown up and mature enough to figure out family is very important,” Markle said, adding, “I think the Queen should step in and tell Meghan to make amends with her father and family. Charles should step in and say, ‘Something’s not right.' They should force her into this, or it’s just going to continue to cause problems in her life.”
If that weren’t enough, Thomas Markle Jr. also took a swipe at his sister and the reports that said she and Prince Harry spent $3 million dollars to renovate their new home at Frogmore Cottage, which sits on the ground of Windsor Castle. He hinted that the costly renovations were done at a disservice to the British taxpaying public, especially since there are “a lot of people struggling to get by,” according to Markle. It's been noted that Prince William and Kate Middleton also spent close to $5 million on their own home renovations.

The Duchess has also reportedly not spoken with her father, Thomas Markle Sr., since he failed to attend her royal wedding to Prince Harry back in 2018. Thomas Markle Sr. cited health problems for the reason why he couldn’t fly to London for the ceremony. Meghan’s father has stated in media interviews that she has since refused to take any of his phone calls.
So far Meghan Markle herself has not made any comments about the supposed feud between her and her estranged siblings.
