She used to be "All About That Bass" and now she's all about that bump. Meghan Trainor and Daryl Sabara are expecting their first child together, a boy, and the mom-to-be recently gave the world an update on their status.

Fresh off dropping a new Christmas album entitled A Very Trainor Christmas, the singer-songwriter spoke remotely to E! co-host Carissa Culiner on the November 3rd edition of The Daily Pop.  The interview covered everything from Christmas Carols to pomegranate babies.

Meghan explained that she is in the second half of her second trimester, doing "great", and "pushing it" daily with the pregnancy tracker app which countless other moms-to-be have found themselves enamored with as well. While it helps in many ways, it also left her confused as this week, it told her that her son is the size of a pomegranate but, "It doesn't make sense. Last week, it said I was bigger. I was the size of a grapefruit."

Fruit measurements aside, Trainor is excited about so much in her life right now. With a baby due next year and an upcoming Christmas that she herself can sing the soundtrack to, Meghan made one thing clear about condensing so much holiday cheer into one compilation. Her song list, like her family, had to be close to her heart. That's why the songs, in her words, had to be "stuff that I knew. Memories that I had from growing up."

She also didn't want to make it a competition so, right from the start, she admits that she was "not going to take on Mariah Carey" or "O Holy Night", but hopes to one day do so live when "corona's over" and the world goes back to normal. This might leave some fans confused as Meghan's range is always impressive. Why wait to sing it one day? There's a pomegranite-sized reason for that.

"Some of these songs...I really struggled with. I'm like, I can not breathe. Also, I'm pregnant so I was already winded. But I was like, maybe it will be different when I'm not pregnant."

Trainor announced her pregnancy on the October 7th edition of The Today Show. The crooner left the initial statement to her husband who bellowed "we're pregnant" to the hosts. At that point, she was finally able to tell the world.

"We're so excited we couldn't sleep," Trainor revealed. "We've been waiting for so long. I was thinking about who do we tell first and I've told Hoda since I was 19, going to the Today show, 'I will have the most babies in the world.' "

Whether she ends up having the most babies in the world or not, one thing is certain, Meghan seems to be having the most fun. Playing games on Daily Pop like "Santa or Baby" or just making her 11 million Instagram followers laugh with funny outfits and videos, she has the pleasant nature that helps a mom make her baby happy. Between her album and her family, she's definitely looking to have herself a Merry Little Christmas this year.
