Mercedes "MJ" Javid and her husband, Tommy Feight, had their first child. Baby is still in NICU, but everybody seems to be doing just fine.
Mercedes "MJ" Javid was pregnant with her miracle baby! She couldn't be pregnant "naturally" and so she had to turn to IVF treatment to help her become pregnant with her child. She said that there were a lot of people during her pregnancy that mom shamed her for the size of her pregnancy bump. Although she was bothered by some of these comments she refused to let the haters ruin her pregnancy. She worked really hard to become pregnant with her baby and she wasn't going to let anything ruin it for her.
MJ did not have a very easy pregnancy and then she did not have an easy delivery of her child. When her husband, Tommy Feight, was interviewed MJ had still not been able to hold her son yet because she was dealing with complications from the delivery. Her son is currently in the NICU and they aren't quite sure when he gets to leave. After a few days, MJ was finally able to hold her baby for the first time!
Feight says that the night his son was born was actually one of the worst nights of his life. MJ was in surgery for over five hours and the doctors were not keeping him posted as to what was happening. Feight had no idea what was going on, if his wife was okay, or if his son was okay. Feight had no idea the health of either of his wife or his child. It was a terrifying moment. He just wanted to know what was going on with his little family.
When the little baby was born he was taken to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. MJ was recovering in a different location and she wasn't able to hold him for a while due to her condition. Feight said that his son is doing amazing! They have him in a little tanning bed with sunglasses on. Feight said that their son is so much like his mommy already. Right before they went to the hospital, MJ went and got a spray tan. Feight just announced their son's name. They named their son after MJ's late father, Shams Francis Feight.
Congratulations you guys on your sweet healthy little boy! We hope that MJ recovers quickly and everybody gets to go home!
