The first round of IVF (in vitro fertilization) didn’t turn out to be successful for Mina Starsiak. However, the Good Bones star is keeping up a strong face.

The post shared by her a day ago had a sweet photo of their 16-month son, Jack Richard, working on a laptop. But as you go through the lengthy caption, which starts with "WARNING: TLDNR Fertility Post, 🖤”, you can’t help but empathize with her and all those who are on the same journey. She admitted that though she knew it was challenging for her one embryo to travel its path towards, and despite her immense love for her son, the news “hit me a bit harder [than] anticipated.”

Her post went on explaining, “My husband sent me this picture while I was working, doing demo on a property right after I got the call this morning that my one and only embryo was no good; that there would be no transfer. I honestly [hadn’t] had much hope in our one embryo jumping perfectly through all the hurdles that exist btwn it fertilizing and an actual baby being born.”

Then, the mom of one goes on to explain how things are bearable for her. But nothing can “negate” the loss she suffered recently. But Starsiak, 35, understands the pain of those who are going through the same struggle as her.

"But I think it’s important to recognize that; that I’m at the beginning of a struggle that so many go through for YEARS,” the hopeful mom added.

Starsiak apologized to her fans for spamming with infertility issues. She also accepts that if she wouldn’t have experienced the pain, she also would've been annoyed and thought the repetitive posts as “too much."

“I do [it] bc of the literal hundreds, likely thousands of women that have thanked me bc allowing my struggle to be public has helped them in one way or another; mostly just not feeling alone bc so many people just don’t talk about these things. It’s a silent struggle [that] no one gets until they’re there,” she continued. She also thanked everyone for their “incredibly vulnerable, supportive amazing messages they’ve sent!”

The HGTV personality hopes are posts will help the people needing help. She ended the post with a positive, writing, “If you're not one of those people, we'll be back to your regularly scheduled Mina in the near future. Please don't desert me. 😘”

Earlier, on Wednesday, Starsiak had shared a collection of clips on her Instagram Story, where she revealed that the one embryo she had regrettably “did not get bigger” after the fertilization process and initial cell division. In a video taken from her car on their way to meet the doctor to know further steps, Starsiak said, “It’s no good, so we’re not putting it in.” In the second clip, she says, she was “trying to look at the bright side” that she “can go back to OTF.”
