Jackson Straits is one amazing baby boy who fought death and won the battle against all odds. Lisa Straits, the mom, was expecting her third child and everything was going perfectly until the 28th week appointment which revealed some serious problems with the baby.

"It was difficult to sit down and talk with the family and say, 'I'm not sure he is going to make it,'" Dr. Clark said. When checking his heartbeat, they saw it was beating around 200's which caused them to get another ultrasound and that is where they saw he had fluid in his lung cavity, abdomen and skin, a condition known as Hydrops. With medication, they did everything to try to keep the baby inside and control his heart rate but there was still a very low chance of survival.

"I knew God was always there with us, but sometimes it was like, 'What's going to happen? Is it going to happen now? Is he going to live?'" Jackson's father said. They ended up reaching their goal and Jackson was born at 32 weeks but two weeks after birth, the situation turned critical again. His heart rate went right back up and the only way to save him was to shock his heart. Jackson surprised everyone and will be turning 3 months old on June 27th!
