Giving a teen a cell phone is giving them some sort of independence. They can make calls, tweets and message their friends... and ignore yours. However, this mom will simply not be ignored.

After lots of research, Sharon Standifird created a new app called: Ignore No More. This app lets parents control their kids phones should they be ignoring them. " It takes away texting, it takes away the gaming, it takes away calling their friends. The child will always be able to call 911."

Once the parent blocks the phone, if the child chooses to use it, when they turn on their screen a list of pre-approved contacts will appear and they must contact one in order to unlock the phone once again. The app costs $1.99 and is currently only available on Android on Google Play however, it is in the works to be available for apple as well.

Is this app cool or controlling?
