Mom Goes To Disney World Without Kids To Celebrate First Day Of School

When one mother watched her children board the school bus for the first time this school year, instead of grabbing a tissue to wipe away her tears, she grabbed her Mickey Mouse ears to celebrate at the greatest place on earth!

According to "Good Morning America", Lisa DiNoto saw her kids off to school as any responsible parent would. Then, as a way to pat herself on the back for taking care of them all summer long and to celebrate her new carefree 8-hour per weekday status, she became the envy of every parent when she drove herself less than two miles from her home to Walt Disney World and purchased a ticket to the Magic Kingdom.

After all, what better way is there to celebrate being carefree than treating yourself to carefree childhood nostalgia?

DiNoto's kid-free Disney trip quickly went viral! The mom told "Good Morning America" that it "seemed totally natural" for her to head to Disney World after she saw her sons off to school so that she could "take a fun 'Celebrating Being Here Alone' moment."

In fact, DiNoto had a special Disney button that declared "I'm Celebrating" which was customized to say that she was celebrating "the first day of school." She had various cast members pose for photos with her and the button including Snow White and the Fairy Godmother who gave DiNoto a gift of a bippity-boppity-bag of pixie dust.

According to DiNoto, one mom saw her in the park and took one look at her button and said, "You are my life goal. Have the most amazing day you've ever day and do it for all of us."

Other moms celebrate in different ways. Mom of three Hillary Dunham prefers to stage funny photos to celebrate the first day back to school, as AL.com reports. This year's photo features Dunham fussing over a chaotic morning scene with her two sons, Owen, 14, and Harris, 11, and daughter, Ellie, 9, while secretly dreaming of the perfect family morning.
